I don't normally write reviews but I felt this product deserves one. I was skeptical upon purchasing and of course I can't speak for the longevity of the product as I've only had it a few days, but so far it has greatly improved my life. I've lived with noisy, nasty, and violent next door neighbors for years now and every day at work I dread coming home as I know I'll get no peace. It was affecting my sleep, my happiness and I was on the brink of moving somewhere else (I probably still will but now it's less urgent). This device is simple. It plays a constant noise (many to choose from) that can be used to drown out unwanted sound. It had a nice lamp and a timer function. I didn't think it would have much effect as next door can reach incredible volumes, but now as soon as I get in from work I pop this device on and adjust the volume to the point where I cannot hear them anymore. The 3 days that I've used it I have been happier, more calm, at peace and generally have had much nicer evenings. It won't be for everyone. The noise that it produces can be changed to fit your needs (I use the default 'brown noise' sound) however many people won't want to have noise playing constantly. But for me and hopefully others, it offers a soothing effect and I even have it on during the rare moments of quiet because I find it helps me relax but also focus when necessary. If you have to put up with noise nuisances I really feel for you and recommend you at least try this device as you can always return it if it doesnt help, or if not then some brown noise over a speaker would probably work too. It might not work as well for anyone with upstairs neighbors as that noise can be more bassy but for people talking loudly/shouting outside and music I find it works great. Hopefully it lasts a long time.

I live in a flat on a busy main road where there’s always plenty of noise going on (inside and outside). From constant heavy traffic, to noisy neighbours, drunks walking past, etc. I’ve used foam ear plugs for the past 30 years for sleeping. They’re pretty good, albeit they do not eliminate noise completely. I’m a very light sleeper and very sensitive to any kind of noise. I’ve only recently become aware of white noise machines. I never knew such gadgets existed until I saw one on a tv program. I was quite sceptical at first that this would be any good to me. Did a bit of research, and it was only £20 so I thought I’d give it a go. I’m glad I did! I use it at night in conjunction with my ear plugs. At the moment at night I’ve been setting it to stop after 2 hours. I’m finding this very good. I quickly drop off to sleep, and wake up in the morning fully refreshed. I did a little test the other day. I turned on the white noise machine to the brown noise mode and lay down on my bed without ear plugs in, just to see if I could hear the traffic from outside my bedroom window, (normally I would hear traffic going past, even with ear plugs in). But I couldn’t hear anything apart from the brown noise. The machine was completely drowning out the noise of the traffic. So when I use it to sleep accompanied with my ear plugs, it is VERY effective indeed! I didn’t need to read the manual. It’s very very easy to operate and is all self explanatory. The volume on the 25 different noise modes can be adjusted to suit. The light function has a few different brightness levels. Even so, my only criticism would be you can’t read a book due to the light function not being bright enough. I didn’t buy it for that purpose, and I have a lamp. So I’m very happy thus far!

I absolutely adore this, I’ve purchased about 5 as gifts since my own one. Lots of nature sounds running water, thunder, rain, birds fire etc. the running water is my favourite, there’s odd ones like a dripping tap, I also enjoy the fan because I sleep with one. I find the lullabies are a lot to be desired they sound so old you can barely make them out. They need to be seriously worked on as I use one for my son as I’m sure a lot of people do. I saw a few comments about people’s plugs blowing up (have you considered it’s your plugs) I’ve had mine for a year and no issues or the ones gifted. I’ve not seen anyone mention any issues with the actual product blowing up though? I also saw someone mention the usb cable went after a few years and common sense says that like all cables you must replace them after so long. I’d have given this 5 stars but I can’t because the lullabies are severely outdated and grainy, so are a couple of the others to listen to. Apart from that i absolutely can’t fault it, easy to use and it goes SO loud. Absolutely amazing! Best thing I’ve brought in a long time.

I chose this sound machine due to lady’s review about dealing with bad neighbours and suffering the same. I’d not slept properly in months. I received my order yesterday and slept a full 8 hours last night which i am so grateful of. I chose the brown noise setting as I needed to cancel out the sound of dogs barking, lots of voices and comings and goings and doors and gates slamming throughout the night. I highly recommend this product.

I feel moved to review this product as it is GREAT! I use it to aid sleep. I use the default brown noise which is apparently the best noise to aid sleep. I take it on holiday with me and adjust it to a level to drown out apartment block / traffic / street noise and just leave it on all night. It works a treat. I got another one for home I am so impressed.

Pretty poor to be honest, supposedly meant to calm you this just made me angry! Sounds are so irritating!

Great item but no Shhh sound for babies. This works well and I like the nightlight feature as well as the range of sounds. However it doesn’t have a shhh sound for babies as I was advised by amazons assistant. Also found the buttons to be very loud when pressed which can disturb baby in the night when using. Overall a good item.

Durch meinen Tinnitus den ich seit kurzer Zeit habe sah ich bei Amazon dieses kleine vielversprechende Gerät. Ich habe es davor mit meinem Internet Radio probiert und bin gescheitert da man die ganze Nacht nicht den 80er Sound hören kann. Dann bestellte ich mir schon verzweifelt diese Box und muss sagen es wirkt 🤗die vielen Geräusche machen es möglich. Ich schlafe derzeit mit dem knistern von Kamin Feuer ein man glaubt irgendwo auf einer verschneiten Hüte zu sein mit Bären Fell am kuscheln 😊Das weisse und braune R auschen ertrage ich nicht aber die Wasserfälle und die Klavier Sonaten sind sehr beruhigend. Also ich empfehle das Gerät sehr gerne und danke Amazon für die schnelle Lieferung 🤗ihr seid die Besten 😍danke
