My 2016 F150 came with OEM Bed Lighting. This kit was purchased for my 2026 F150. The Starkey Products LED Bed Light Kit appeared to be a quality product with easy installation. The installation video was easy to follow and the installation was as easy as following the video (did hit pause a few times so I could catch up). The Bed Light kit quality didn't disappoint. Purchased and installed separately the Starkey Bed Switch kit, and now the bed lights up just like it came OEM. Highly recommend Starkey products, well worth the investment.

Just what I was looking for at a fraction of the cost. The brightness is spot on and blends perfectly with the OEM lights. The install was simple. The great part is that I didn’t have to go back to the Ford dealership to pay to have them flash the computer for it to operate.

This kit came with everything you need to install a factory looking light bed kit for your Ford truck bed. Starkey provides easy to follow written instructions and a video tutorial that walks you through the installation. We couldn’t be happier with the outcome!

Great light for 2024+ F150. Unlike 21-23, Ford removed the factory pigtails of wirings from 24 and up models, if yours doesn't have a factory bed accessory package with lights. These lights now need to plug into the 3rd brake lights. Good thing is, they are brighter than factory lights. And they lights up automatically with your factory bed lights when approaching or had your zone lights on. No need to manually turn on and off which is better than factory.

Pros: The kit included nicely assembly lights, wires, and split conduit looms. Video instructions were thoughtful, clear, and help you critically problem solve the install to a good end result. Lights are bright and illuminate nicely under a tonneau cover. The overall installation design and function is intelligent and results in a OEM final result. Cons: Product is made with “big red” overseas materials. Supplied zip strips were too short to secure the loom along the frame at most points. Additional split conduit was needed to protect the terminal connector wires at the rear of the truck. The video is dated relative to the new cab grommet location in 2026 F150s. Reversing the wire loom installation sequence (contrast to the video) is best for late model F150s and is done by pulling wire from under the truck through the rear cab passenger side grommet hole (you can cheat a bit and remove the rubber grommet and push the large terminal connectors one at a time from inside the cab and then drop/pull the majority of the loom down to the ground). Then precisely “x” slice the center of the removed rubber grommet at the work bench with a sharp blade. Next, slide the “x-slit” rubber grommet over the small red connector end that is now in the cab and pull the wire loom through it to the approximate final install location on the loom. Lastly, use a few feet of weed eater line taped to the small red connector to pull it up behind the headliner panel annd into the rear brake light assembly for install. This avoids the issue of the cabin pressure vent re-located by Ford to the center of the rear cab wall which is far away from the ground wire mount location (changed in 2025+?) and gives you the ability to use the left side cab small grommet opening near the ground for a much cleaner install with less wire loom exposure behind the rear seat. To route/secure the loom along the frame properly, removal of the spare tire is necessary. The install time with attention to detail “doing it right” is a few hours not 30 minutes as marketed by the manufacturer. Recommend giving yourself a morning or afternoon to install - all in all…it is worth the effort.

These fit and look oem when done. You will have to get under the truck and remove some easy pieces, but what a useful addition to be able to see in the bed at night! Execution of this kit is premium. The shielding of the wiring is nice. All of the parts work just as described in the instructions. Buy with confidence on this one, it’s an easy install - watch the video, do each step, pausing between steps. The only issue I had was that I dropped the wire splicer between the bed and cab of the truck and it didn’t fall through. Fortunately, I had these laying around - would be nice if the kit included an extra for us.

These work perfectly. My truck did not have the vent pass through so I used the near by grommet. Lights are a perfect fit, very bright. Very happy with the install and outcome.

Took a long time for me to install these only because it’s been too bloody cold here in Canada. Today I finally got to them and they are amazing! They are truly made to fit the vehicle as advertised. Starkey’s installation instructions both video and paper were perfect and easy to follow. Things went exactly as they described. Total time for installation for me was about 45 minutes. I highly recommend this company for your vehicle customization needs!
