Brilliant
Always had Remington straighteners for my daughters, one pair is still going strong after years of use. Very quick to heat up, hair straightened in a matter of minutes. With a five year guarantee plus one year extra if registered with 28 days, makes it worth spending that little bit more. Definitely recommend these

Brilliant… apparently
She loves them… better than the rubbish Dysons she juts had that the battery failed on after 12 months!

Really good.
My wife was thrilled with her surprise gift, new Remington hair straighteners, which apparently do a great job. The only strange thing was the scuffed and very grubby outside box, which made them look almost second-hand. 🤔 Anyway, the straighteners seem to work fine, so all is good.

First impressions… very good
I’m so excited about these. They arrived less than 30 minutes ago and I have already straightened my wavy thick hair (took 10 minutes). First impressions are very good.I am writing this review comparing them against my older Remington wide straighteners, and the Corrales that I was fortunate to get to try recently (but are way out of my budget). I have thick wavy hair.Presentation was very nice. I like the fact everything in the box can be recycled. No bits of plastic or plastic bags. They started up very quickly.I did one pass over a section of hair and was amazed at how well it straightened first time (I was expecting to have to go over a few sections before it picked up my hair type). They did get hot, but considering the type of hair I have, I did expect this, but my hair didn’t feel like it was burning and I like that you can override the temperature if needed. If I can get away with one pass over on most sections of my hair every time, I will be very happy.Cable swivels and is a nice length. It was nice trying the corrales, which are cordless, but this wouldn’t really benefit me and would not be a deal breaker for me, so having plugged in straighteners is fine as long as that cable swivels. These are definitely lighter than the corrales as there is no battery weight from that cordless feature, but I didn’t notice the weight that much when actually using the corrales.I was worried about the strip that goes through the middle of the plates but you don’t notice it at all.You don’t need to grip these tightly either due to the flexing plates. Over gripping could make it feel like you are pulling your hair out.I was also worried about how thin these were as I had been used to using wide plate straighteners, but these worked just as well and wasn’t an issue at all. They do have an odd smell at first, but I guess that’s the smell of the materials used, just like how a toaster can smell on the first use, but this seems to have now gone.I’m not very good at using straighteners to make curls but I did manage to do a couple of curls with them, so I’m sure they would be good for that too.I won’t lie, compared to some of the other good Remington straighteners, these are on the pricey side (even when half price) but hopefully the new technology will be worth it….only time will tell on that one. I like the 5 year warranty too for peace of mind.If I am able I will update this review at a later date if anything changes.

Absolutely top drawer.
I've seen my wife use many different straighteners; she says these are the absolute business but I won't pretend I understood any of the reasons. It seems to leave her with straight hair, so that's presumably the point. The acid test is that her teenage daughters ask to use her hair straighteners despite having their own ones each.

Not very happy.
It was a gift for my daughter but I also used a few times. It's not their most wonderful product.PRO:- It heats up quickly- the hair looks beautiful after straightening- it has a long power cordAGAINST:- sometimes it catches and breaks the hairs- makes a discreetly bizarre sound. It's not loud but you can hear it. As if there is an electrical resistance that does not work well. It makes you not feel very safe.- it doesn't have a cover. At this price, you would expect it to have at least a bag. Instead, it comes with a small rubber, which, apparently, has the purpose of insulating the table on which you put the straightener. But this is too small and completely useless.I have been using the Remington S8590 Keratin Therapy Pro Straightener for a few years, which is cheaper but much better than this product. Not bad but I would not buy again.

A very high-quality item
I got my wife a Remington hair straightener because she had been eyeing it for a while but wasn't sure it was worth the money. It appears that she liked the purchase. My spouse asserts that the Remington hair straightener is great and that she is pleased with the way her hair is styled once she uses it.

Excellent hair straightener.
I love that it beeps when it’s ready for use. It doesn’t seem to damage my hair as much as my last one (pink straightener from Australian brand). I also like that it comes with a protective pad.
