Babelio Pocket Mini Portable White Noise Machine for Travel, 15 Sounds

We looooove this sound machine! My kids saw it and thought it was a marshmallow so now that’s what we call it 🙂 it’s small, easy to use, and effective! We bought it with the intent to carry it in the diaper bag, which we do, but we also use it around the house. We have been using it to put our daughter to sleep at night when we’re downstairs and it’s great! A sound machine provides the perfect amount of white noise that helps her fall asleep, it’s like magic. It lasts a few times (like multiple days of putting her to sleep before transferring her upstairs) before needing to charge it again. It’s a cute and modern design too. Definitely worth every penny. It’s something that if we lost we would be buying it again the next day. The only downside is that it is small so if you’re using it around the house it’s easier to lose. However the good thing is that it’s small so easy to carry everywhere with you. So swaddle that baby up and be ready for them to fall asleep!

This is a small but powerful little sound machine. I spend a lot of weekends away and wanted something small enough to pack but also loud enough to matter. The buttons are easy to see and use and there are tons of sounds to choose from and even a timer. It holds a charge great as well. Perfect for on the go.

It's small and easy to carry around/hang it with the strap. - Good battery life: we usually get about a good week of naps/sleep time (timer set for 1hr each...roughly around ~10-14 hrs per charge) though I usually try to charge it around every 5 days to always have it ready. - Good variety of sounds: Baby loves when it changes up every so often. Baby's current fave is the birds/stream sound. - Loud! This tiny thing can get pretty loud, good for public stroller naps when we have busy schedule. - Controls are a slight learning curve but easy once you get used to. Only 3 buttons with two functions for each ^^

My family and I were long time users of Dohm and Marpac sound machine products (the traditional, mechanical whirring devices that provide white noise for privacy or sleeping). Several years ago we switched to electronic devices (e.g. LectroFan) which were lighter and offered more sound options, but had hardware (like AC adapters) that would break easily or snap off. Finally, because of a relative’s recommendation, we switched to this handheld device by Babelio — it’s a game-changer! It’s comical how large our previous sound machines are in comparison to this tiny device. It provides great adjustable volume settings (it can get quite loud, and also can be set low to almost a whisper) with lots of variety of generic white noises and nature sounds. The packaging is premium and it comes with a USB-A to USB-C cord for power, although this device can hold a charge and work wirelessly for several nights (we’ve never tested the limit, but it seems like it might last most of a week). It also comes with a hand strap that could be used to dangle the device from a stroller or just to secure it better. The cord was satisfying to attach. Very well built product that works as advertised at an affordable price point. Ended up buying a second one because our other kid found the sounds soothing to sleep to. I wish it came with an AC adapter so in older hotels without USB-A ports we wouldn’t have to substitute with a phone charging adapter.

Overall, this a great product. It's small and very portable, and it has a bunch of different sounds and volumes, so it's easy to find a decent setting. I took a star off for two main reasons. First is a small thing, and that's just that it has a very shallow, "tin can" sound to it...but I don't really hold that against it, because I don't really expect a deep sound coming from such a small package. The bigger issue is that I got the white one, and it became very discolored within only a week or two of owning it. I don't really understand why this is happening because I've only used it a couple of times. The rest of the time it just sits in one of the zippered pockets of my backpack. It's a fairly new backpack with nothing in it that would cause discoloration, yet both the top and bottom of this device are turning brown (see pictures).

I have used a white noise machine for over 25 years to help me sleep. I had one I used for travel, and I don’t think I would be getting hardly any sleep in a strange bed in a hotel room without one. That one was a hand-me-down from my Mother, and was about the size of the old-school cassette Walkmans—though it also had an alarm clock, a radio, and weather radio in it—pretty nice. It finally died, and I knew I had to get something to replace it before I traveled anywhere else. This one is nice and small, and weighs less than my old one—good for traveling. It doesn’t have the extra features, but nowadays I get those with my cell phone, so not a concern. The old one plugged into an outlet and/or used batteries; this one uses a USB charger. I prefer my electronics to plug into the wall instead of having to charge a battery that will eventually die and cannot be replaced—I sincerely doubt this one will be going strong for 25+ years, but nobody ever asked me before switching almost all electronics over to “chargeable USB” power, so I just have to live with that. My husband teases me that I’m a “who moved my cheese” whiner…Anyway, after I received it, I started poking around to find some kind of protective case to use with it for traveling. The first one I ordered was not a good fit, but then I found this: RLSOCO Case for Samsung Galaxy Buds Pro/Buds 2 / Buds Live. It works perfectly! It’s a bit tight at first, but it certainly does the exact task I wanted it for, it’s lightweight and protective. I took some pictures, in case anyone else is looking for a suitable protective travel case. The case will also help me keep track of it, as there is less chance I’ll forget it in a hotel room somewhere. The sound machine itself is good. I can’t stand the ones that have an audible “loop” sound—even a very faint one—to me that is very noticeable and irritating when I am trying to get to sleep. This machine does not have a looping effect, at least not one I could hear. I’m very satisfied with this lightweight, little white noise machine. Time will tell how long it will last. I dislike that most electronics, appliances, etc made nowadays seem to incorporate “planned obsolescence”, or are just made so cheaply they will need replacing far sooner than the old-school stuff—don’t think that’s going to change anytime soon—corporations make too much money selling us things over and over, while landfills get larger and larger each day. Of course, no one asked for my opinion…

Because it is so small, this is perfect for travel. I have used it in hotel rooms, on cruises, and when visiting friends and family. Good sound quality, choice of sounds, easy volume control, easy to pack. Doesn’t take up any extra room in luggage. I am happy with this purchase.

May be little but very mighty. I love this sound machine and it has been a necessity for traveling for my kiddos. It is super easy to charge and doesn’t take long to have a full battery. The battery life itself is very impressive since it lasts all night long. It is suitable for babies through bigger kids. We use it for our kiddos who the youngest is 6 and oldest is 9. They love how it’s not a harsh white noise but yet it can drown out noises that prevents them to sleep. We do notice without this little guy they are restless and don’t have a good night sleep. The volume control is great, you can have it for your newborn in the stroller or loud enough for a big bedroom.

After reading all the reviews I was worried this wouldn't last long. But its been so good at helping my little one to sleep. Stays on all night on the white noise sound. Can go for two or 3 nights all night straight b4 I need to even charge it, and charges super fast then back to using. I'm actually going to buy another one as I'm away and forgot my travel sound machine so I'm gutted and desperately need it to make the trip go smoothly.

I bought these because someone had mentioned them to me. This sound machine literally fits in your palm. It’s got a nice compact design, a heavy speaker (good quality), good buttons, tons of selection for sound and it’s USB C charged. Lasts about 18 hours on full charge going full volume. Also comes with a good attachable strap for hanging on things like a stroller, bed post, handle etc.

Its great and does exactly what is required. I was using my phone for white noise before and that was a challenge. The volume levels and battery life is good. Size is excellent. Helps to block out the noise that my toddler makes thus allowing my baby to sleep longer!
