This projector definitely delivers. The pictures do not show the actual clarity or definition in the projection. This is not my first short throw so I have experience in trying to get the best picture and this technology is it. LG SmartOS is amazing and all 1500 Lumens are felt. I typically run this in normal mode but vivid is by far my favorite for movies.

Impressive brightness, clarity, and durability. Everyone would get impressed when I turned this baby on during outdoor BBQ, Viet karaoke night outdoor-indoor. Chicks loved it! You made me proud. Money well spent. FYI: it still works. Carried it to US, Japan, and Vietnam. I did play PS4 at the airport once with this projector during long lay-over.

I do believe it is better to have a short throw projector, it's easier to set, you won't be bothered with cables or having to do a construction work to hang this on the ceiling. The idea to be able to move it to different houses is very useful, my father is pleased with this. Cons? Well, the sound is awful, we had to put a home theater. Too few lumens, the room has to be 60% dark so you can see the image comfortably. The Bluetooth is unstable, every time you turn on the projector you have to pair it with the Bluetooth item.

Initial purchased with a screen but the picture was satisfactory against our tan wall. We returned the screen but I wanted to hold my review until after we repainted our wall. Wow, what a difference flat Universal Grey makes. We have a large ceiling fan with bright leds directly in line with the ‘screen’. Before, the picture was too washed out, now it’s watchable (1st photo) and it’s amazing with the lights off (2nd photo). Pros - Picture quality - Quite (after initial turn on) - Nearly instant on - Easy setup - Remote Cons - LG’s limited apps (easily fixed with streaming device) - Loud fan noise on initial turn on (goes nearly silently in 2-3 minutes) - Would have preferred Black over White - Extremely sensitive to minor adjustments (traits of all UltraShortThrows) - Getting my kids out so I can watch my shows Bottom line, very satisfied with my purchase. I’m team projector now.

1) The projector has a constant (fan) noise that can be heard within my living room as soon as you turn it on. The noise sounds not like a regular fan blowing and annoying to a degree that I have to give up on this projector. 2) The brightness is only good for completely dark environment. Even a lamp light can downgrade the picture quality dramatically. 3) To change the battery for the remote control is a disaster for me, because it is super hard to open it. Definitely a design flaw. 4) The package contains this product is covered by stains and dirts. Feel like they are shipped from a garbage can. I feel like I am paying a huge premium on so-called "ultra short throw" technology and the quality of this projector is just not up to its price. TLDR: If you are looking for a quiet and bright projector, skip this one. It is an "ultra-short-throw" toy more than a solid projector.

First off very happy that I actually went through with the purchase. This thing is awesome the picture is as described in the description looks better than 1080p even without a screen just displayed on a wall. Brighter than I expected, overall I would 100% buy it again if I had to.

In concept, this projector seems to tick all the boxes. It is HD, it has improved brightness compared to other models, and it is able to display the latest consoles and other devices. In the end, this model does nothing to address the inherent negatives of short-throw projectors. The brightness of this model is so low, it lacks black levels even in a completely dark room. Although I was projecting on a new construction wall in my loft, the projector had difficulty in projecting a rectangular box, always skewing 1 or 2 corners after countless hours of adjustment. Fan noise was a 4 out of 10 (10 being deafening), enough to notice during normal TV watching. Colors seemed to pop, however they too were noticeably skewed towards green and pink hues. Packaging, basic setup (other than picture setup), and daily use were all easy and positives for this model.

Fantastic for this price range projector. I could not be happier with the purchase. It’s quiet, projects massively and brightly when on and has a small footprint when off. I literally took it out of the box plugged it in and it worked perfectly. Very little setup. I find it easy to navigate with the remote and it works well with my Chromecast plus Nintendo switch set up. The native software is kind of a bust however, screen sharing, the LG App Store, and typing in urls with the remote is less intuitive. You can buy a keyboard that works with this model but I have not done that yet. What I will say is that overall you can’t go wrong. I love how the projector allows for a room to have multiple use, and not just be centered around a tv. It’s there when you want it and not there when you don’t.

Excelente calidad de imagen, conexiones suficientes para crear tu cine casero. Desgraciadamente su sistema operativo ha sido descontinuado, está en WebOS 3.00.02 No cuenta con YouTube ni otras aplicaciones básicas, no he podido lograr streaming desde mi Android, la aplicación de Netflix no funciona, en fin... Es una lástima que tenga el potencial y se necesite conectar a un Chromecast o alguna consola para poderlo disfrutar.
