Is eufyCam 3 compatible with Apple HomeKit?

No. It is compatible with Alexa and Google Assistant currently. HomeKit is still undergoing development. Please stay tuned!

How efficient is the built-in solar panel charging?

Tests show that with full exposure to direct sunlight for 2 hours, the camera can keep working for an entire day. However, this depends on the strength of the sunlight. Install your camera in a position that exposes it to as much sun as possible.

Is HomeBase 3 compatible with other eufy Security products?

HomeBase 3 is compatible with all eufyCam models, eufy Battery Doorbells (except E8213), and eufy Sensors. It will be compatible with all eufy Security devices by the end of 2022, with the exception of eufy Wired Doorbell.

Does the system support 24/7 recording?

No. The camera is battery-powered and is designed to offer a balance between battery life and event capturing.

Can I use HomeBase 3 on Wi-Fi?

No. HomeBase 3 can only be connected to the router by cable to ensure a perfect connection. HomeBase 3 can not connect to your network via Wi-Fi.

Excellent Security System!

Excellent and works so well, easy to install and configure, but... the sensitivity is a hit and miss, sometimes it records the slightest activities, and sometimes nothing.. And the battery seems to go faster than usual even in bright sunlight (the rate of battery usage is faster than the rate of solar charging)

Super happy with the quality of the product

Got the delivery on time. So far so good. Been using the product for about 10 days now and the battery range with solar charging is ranging between 95% and 100% which is fantastic. I hope it stays that way and I won't have issues with Solar panel peeling of as some people mentioned in their feedback.

bad support and bad quality cams

After installing the device for a month, it suddenly stopped working. When I tried to contact Eufy, they informed me that the device was purchased from Amazon and would not be eligible for replacement or refund. Also the second camera was faulty after one year.

This is the system to buy

Upgraded from a Eufy Pro 2k camera set, the solar feature and improved resolution are significant advances and the AI and facial recognition tools are surprisingly useful. Added a Crucial 1TB drive as well, simple upgrade that is working perfectly after I read the directions and formatted it in the Eufy app. I needed 3 cameras so also bought a 2k 440 solar standalone camera, frankly now hard to like the lower resolution so I advise you to wait for the early December availability of the 330 4k cameras as standalone units. I like the privacy of the Eufy setup and the fact you aren’t forced into a subscription to get all the best features.

Easy to setup.Good app.The video quality is disappointing, not 4K at all, you can’t read cars plate numbers.The mounting mechanism is not good, the camera keeps dipping down.The events recording misses a lot of action even when using highest sensitivity settings.The AI face detection is so bad, but it says it’s in beta.
