No, this is a short stroke because the rod is short. However long the rod on the plunger, is the length of the stroke. Actually, this plunger can be converted to any size stroke you want, if you have a different size rod and cylinder length.

Junk grom fite is 30 ft down well how do i get it out

Sir / Madam, The pitcher portion of the pump in which the plunger is installed has a larger diameter than the well pipe it sits on, therefore it could not fall down the well pipe. I don't know what your circumstances are, but if you have enough room, you may possibly coax the plunger out of the well with a strong magnet on a line.

Old Pitcher pump

I had an old Pitcher Pump that I cleaned up and repainted. I had to replace the old leathers as well and needed a new plunger. The new Simmons plunger fit and works great . The pump had a standard 3” opening and the plunger was perfect with the leather that came with it. Nice fit and good to go.

Fixed the problem

It was a bit snug and hard to push down into the pump. We started to think we may have ordered a wrong part. But we rubbed some olive oil on the leather and managed to install it. I am pretty sure the snugness is actually a good thing. It will probably last a long time. Pump works great.

Quick, easy repair

This fit right in my 4 year old Tractor Supply cast iron pitcher pump. The old one refused to disassemble for a new cup leather but this was simple and not much more money. If it only had the bottom check valve, too, it would have been the perfect repair. I bought rubber checks from another seller and they are horrible.
