The bottom of the dispenser is 3 inches diameter. Great product , I use it for my washing up liquid

Glass! Definitely not plastic and it is very nice - I’m very happy with mine.

Has anyone used this for shower gel /body wash in the bath/shower?

Hi. Yes, I use the 3 I bought for kitchen(hand wash), bathroom(handwash) and shower gel as long as its not too thick a Gel it works great. Very neat dispensers. Hope this helps.
