I've been buying and hunting various bags to fit a small mirrorless system I have. Finally found a solution. This bag holds my gear: a6600 with 10-20mm f/4 attached, 24mm f/1.8 inside its own small case that is sat on its side in the middle, and a telephoto 70 - 350mm on the other side of that one included divider standing on its lens cap. A squeeze bulb blower is in there too. Not jammed in. Not crowded at all. Can easily get things in/out and pull the zipper across without trouble. Room for batteries and personal items is there too. When filled and sat down on the table, it holds it shape (nothing bulging out), even with all that stuff in there. It looks relaxed and that's important so that a little impact along the side won't be transmitted directly to the gear inside. And it does not scream CAMERA BAG, or at least I don't think so. Really is great and so inexpensive. Very high quality too. Everything feels solid and like it is built to last.

With the recent trend of "camera slings" I've been trying to find one that didn't look too much like a fanny pack. This new product from Ulanzi caught my eye. It's the perfect mix between the sling style bags these days and a shoulder/messenger bag. Plus, it wasn't hard shelled like the peak design/pygtech slings. When it was in my hands, I was surprised! It feels really well made, one of the best products that Ulanzi has made. The inside is lined with soft lining, and it comes with an origami style divider. There was also a decent amount of inside pockets as well. The front pocket has 2 internal sleeve pockets. There's a back pocket too for your phone or wallet. The zippers are high quality water resistant (-proof maybe?), the strap is seatbelt style nylon for durability, and the overall outside of the bag is waterproof and feels high quality. I'll be using this bag as a daily bag, kind of like a purse. It fits my Fuji X-S10 with it's XF 18-55mm 2.8 lens with a ton of room! (I don't carry an additional lens with me for daily carry) Great work Ulanzi! I would love to see a 3L version out of curiosity. Only cons: though it is padded somewhat, I would still be caution of placing this down all willy-nilly. If there is an improved version, at least there should be thicker padding at the very bottom.

The ULANZI Versatile Camera Bag popped up as an Amazon Deal and, being a bit of a bag hag, clicked add to cart. I also own the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, so I’ll compare with that more expensive bag. This a near clone of the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L: a lightly padded bag with a sleek messenger bag form factor. Secondly, this is a small bag—smaller than my Peak Everyday Sling 6L. The black rubberized plastic exterior (PU) shows fingerprints readily and the matte finish takes on a shine where it contacts clothing. PU isn’t as attractive or as tactile as canvas or 600 denier fabrics, and is less supple than the fabric used on the Bellroy. PU "grabs" some shirts and jackets, making swings of the bag from back to front challenging at times. On the plus side, PU is extremely water resistant. It has endured tropical downpours and beer splashes without a problem. The interior improves over the Bellroy Venture by being Vecro friendly; that is, allows free positioning and the addition of dividers. Sadly, Ulanzi only includes one tiny divider. As supplied, laying my EOS R7 with RF-S 18-150 IS STM sideways on the bottom was all that fit. A waste of space above the camera and no room for extra lenses or accessories. Luckily, I had two extra Peak Everyday Sling 6L dividers, and they fit the Ulanzi perfectly, allowing me to stow my R7 and RF-S 18-150 IS STM lens down in the center with hood mounted! More than half the cargo space was now available to stow other things: another lens and a flash easily fit on the other side of the dividers. Once fitted with proper dividers, this bag is a joy to carry: good looking, lightweight, slender and hugs the body. The strap adjusts easily and is comfy. Plus, the strap yoke allows the bag to adjust angle to body contours. The strap pad is too small to distribute weight evenly on shoulder and upper chest—I prefer using it without the pad. The zipper, albeit not as smooth as the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling, pulls easily enough and the bag opens wide for gear extraction. Unfortunately, the Ulanzi is unable to stand upright and must be laid on its side when not being carried. The Ulanzi Versatile Camera Bag is not as thoughtfully designed, comfy or as versatile as the Bellroy Venture Camera Sling 10L, but is well made. However, the Ulanzi, at under forty George Washingtons, is a bargain and easy to customize. If you have spare dividers from another bag, it can be made into a great bag for a mirrorless (or small DSLR) with mounted kit zoom and an extra lens and flash. My suggestion for Ulanzi is to use 600 denier fabric on the outer shell, add color choices, include two interior dividers and design a longer strap pad.

I have a Sony A74 and I use this bag with one prime on the camera body, and two small primes fit in the bag as well. When I go to the beach, I don't want to change lenses so I use the Sony 20-70mm f/4. I put this on the camera body and I can still fit a small prime as well in the bag. I particularly like the top zipper access to the bag and it allows for a very speedy access. (no cover to flip out of the way first, which slows down access.) The handle on the bag is very handy and works great when you don't want to fiddle with the shoulder strap. The bag is small and good looking. Not sure how waterproof it is, but it looks like it's waterproof. Great bag for the price.

Proven on a recent trip to be waterproof in drizzling rain. But enough for a Sony a7c with two extra lens (padded bags). The back pocket is up against your body and can store passport and wallet. I carry also a very small water bottle. You could probably organize a small phone charger battery pack. It’s good for an everyday carry on vacation to bring all of what you need. Build quality seems good. And at this price the bag can be replaced without much concern.

this bag is actually pretty good. i think it deserves more credit. with such a low price compared to others, and the benefit of not looking like a camera bag, you get a lot. I love the feel on the outside, and the padding is tough enough where I fell comfortable putting my a6700 inside. A lens stays pretty well inside as well. the ONLY thing I wish there was is another insert to separate the bag into more compartments. other than that, pretty nice, worth a try. I'm surprised not more youtubers or reviewers talk about it.

I wanted to like this bag so much as I love Ulanzi products. But the capacity seemed bigger than it actually was and the material was cool and water repellant but also very stiff with not a ton of flexibility. This made fitting more gear in the bag harder. It's not a bad bag, but it needs to be either wider or deeper in my opinion. The price is not bad either but I'd rather pay more for a bag that fits my needs better.

I’ve traveled the world with this bag and I can say it’s really good. My R10 with a 24-105 fits and I have more space to add my personal things inside and if I need to I can add the 100-400, it fits but then you don’t have space for anything else. I decided to go with my iPhone to “replace” the 24-105 and stay with the 100-400 in this bag. The bag is really resistant and I can recommend it!

I had hoped that this would work as a light day-bag for my Nikon Z fc, but this bag sadly falls short of about 3 inches, length-and-depthwise. Otherwise the design is well thought out. I'm hoping to find a similar but larger bag, with just enough room/height to carry a small water bottle with the camera + medium-sized lens (attached).

Good value for money. Highly recommended.
