I bought mine in 2011. So comfortable to use left-handed. Never cleaned or adjusted them. Recently, they weren't cutting well, even though I sharpened the blade, so I thought maybe I needed a new pair. Came to this website, and saw that I could take them apart and clean and adjust them. After cleaning and adjusting the tension, they now work beautifully! Ready for the next 12 years of use.

These pruners replace the one that I somehow mislaid. The old one served me well for over twenty years. The new one is identical. If I don't lose this one, I won't need to replace it for at least another twenty years. Oh, yes, they are designed for left-handed people with medium to large hands. They are too big for small hands and not built for right-handed people. You cannot go wrong with Felco pruners.

I've been using Felcos nearly every day 47 years. They're made well and you can buy replacement parts when you wear them down. Few things are made to last like that any more. I abuse my pruners and they take it. They fill in as a pocket knife, sprinkler adjustment tool, screwdriver, and digging tool. (Yes, I know you purists are gasping.) But I can sharpen them back up and the keep on cutting. .....Yay Felco!

I can use the right handed clippers now and she has the left handed ones. They do a great job of clipping.

Have been using this pair of secs for 7 years now, and they are fantastic. I sharpen them a lot, but that is just through use, and I abuse them a lot by using them on branches they shouldn't be cutting. If you have a strong grip, these will cut through anything you can fit in its jaws. I don't advise that, but they will do it. Much better than paying a paltry amount for worthless secateurs, push the boat out, and these will last forever.
