I have Dane bulls and staffy chihuahuas. I saw this on tv once on some pet show I watched and they said that this was the one single item that pet owners should all have that veterinarians would recommend and you could buy over the counter. I had just read an article that hydrogen peroxide is not really good to put on dogs or humans because it actually can hinder healing and that it stings. They said that this product is painless and gentle but is great for cleansing a boo boo . So I looked it up and it’s not expensive so I bought it for my little pet first aid kit. I love this stuff. Anytime there’s a little injury I wash it out with water, just run water on it to make sure it’s clean if any debris and then I pat dry with a paper towel really lightly and then I spray this on it and sometimes I am amazed. The injured area really starts getting better overnight. You can see a difference and it’s ok if they lick it, it won’t make them sick. And it doesn’t hurt. It might startle them first squirt but it doesn’t hurt. I highly recommend. I like having this on hand for emergencies.

A MUST HAVE for pet parents!! Any kind of cut, abrasion, skin irritation, etc. that you're able to use this on, please do!! It helps with the healing process, helps to flush out contaminants, and doesn't hurt my animals whatsoever (just make sure you grab the right dog or cat or all animal one!!) Make sure you have a bottle or two of this in your medicine cabinet! You'll thank yourself later!

Product so far is good. It doesn’t sting my dog and easy to clean his abrasions. There is one downfall to the company plz work on better nozzle spray. I’ve had to replace mine because the one on bottle didn’t work. 😞

We keep Vetericyn +plus wound care. It heals sores and sometimes our dog will hurt one of her nails and we put it on the nail. I like that it's in a spray bottle.

I absolutely swear by this stuff! When I first adopted My New Puppy her and my older dog got into a scuffle and she got bit, it was a small bite but I put the Vetericyn on the wound for a couple days and it healed it right up. It didn't cause any skin irritation so it is super gentle super effective and definitely did what it was supposed to do. Silly dogs, they love each other now no worries! I highly recommend this item to anybody who has an animal that may get a scratch or small wound here or there and they just need to keep it clean. I've also had vets recommend this product as well.

So glad I got this, it works well and doesn't cause pain when I spray it directly on the wound. My dog got a small hole in his leg after roughhousing with our other dog too hard, not big enough to need stitches or a vet visit but large enough that I knew it could get infected if we didn't keep it clean. After a few days of spraying this 2x a day and using the healing clay stuff for pets on it, the hole healed with no issues.

I bought this to treat a chinchilla that has persistent bumble foot. She has a big attitude. She won't tolerate soaks, she can't tolerate antibiotics. Nevertheless I still need a way to treat, especially in case of a bumble blowout which can be very bloody, and very painful. Those happen in small bursts usually and the foot tends to heal up well without much intervention, but she recently had a big, big bumble blowout, big wound left behind, big risk for infection. If you're a small animal owner like me you've probably heard the Internet insist that you use blu kote for situations like that, but blu kote isn't safe in case of ingestion, and moreover, it stains everything blue. So I went in search of an ultra safe, easy to apply solution and came across a reco for Vetericyn. I spritzed it on her wound for about 3-4 days and the blown bumble scabbed over and started to heal immediately. Two weeks later, there's no infection and no swelling, and it looks like a brand new foot, better than ever before. As un-luck would have it, the bumble brewing on her other foot just blew, and so we've got the Vetericyn on board again. I love that I can just spritz it on the wound quickly before she squiggles and then bribe her with food. The spray doesn't stink, it kind of just vaguely smells like saline. If it stank like bag balm or stung like blu kote she'd give me heck trying to put it on her but with this spray she just kind of sits there and doesn't mind me applying it. It's hypochlorous acid, which is something their bodies make anyway, and I don't have to worry if she licks the excess off which is key, because she absolutely will. She's a rodent. It's what they do. There is no such thing as a chinchilla cone. It heals ouchies fast, it's safe for the little guys, and so far it really seems to calm her bumble issue down, so I foresee us doing preventive weekly spritzes to try to fend this problem off for good.

Le chat se grattait constamment et le produit n'a pas été efficace pour soigner les croûtes, du moins il n'a pas calmé les démangeaisons. Il a fallu donner une dose de cortisone pour le calmer et laisser la cicatrisation se faire tranquillement.

Mi gata tenía una herida en la almohadilla y con el spray se le ha curado enseguida, estuve una semana poniendo aloe vera y nada, además costaba que no se lamiese el aloe y la herida seguía igual. Con este spray, que no tiene olor , ni escuece y alivia enseguida no se ha lamido ni una vez y en tres días tiene la herida casi curada. Lo he aplicado mojando bien la zona con el spray y luego manteniendo entretenida a la gata durante cinco minutos para que no apoyase la pata. Por cierto, me lo he aplicado yo también en una herida en la rodilla y en efecto funciona mejor que el betadine.

Very good for all my pets just great

My adventurous, and very clumsy, cat jumped on the side while I was making a brew and came toppling down, bringing the just boiled water down with him. I did all the immediate things of putting cold water on him, where he was wet, but after about half an hour I saw a red mark on his side, and his fur had fallen out! I was mortified. I didn’t notice it earlier. After a week or two of burn cream from the vet his wound wasn’t getting any better. It was never infected but it just stayed the same. He would get out of the cat cone, a surgery suit was no match for Houdini and he kept getting to the scald, licking it and making it worse. It would bleed, scab over, then repeat, and showed no signs of improvement. Please note this burn was only a minor scald (1st degree) and didn’t blister or bleed (until he licked the cream off and over groomed) I cannot attest to its efficacy on a deeper scald. As a last resort I researched for something else to help him and came across this miracle in a bottle. I read the reviews and thought for the price I will give it a try. I couldn’t believe the difference it made. Within a few days the size of the scald had decreased, he wasn’t licking it anymore and the skin looked really healthy. I did put an old outfit I had from when my dog was a puppy, to try and deter him from licking it, and it worked better than the surgery suit. But he didn’t seem to want to lick it now anyway. The spray seemed to take away the itchiness and enabled it to heal for longer before he got to it. When he did lick it, it didn’t make him poorly. I sprayed two pumps twice a day for a week and it was totally healed! He was a bit shocked at first with the spray so I did one spray, gave him a fuss, then do the other and he got used to it. If he did manage to lick it off before it dried I would reapply. I sprayed a bit on his little outfit too, to add a bit more contact. I am so impressed with this little bottle, it did what prescribed cream couldn’t. I just wish I’d have got it sooner. I would say if you can’t spray it onto your animals wound, then spray it onto something cotton (like a T-shirt) and lightly press onto the wound. The cotton won’t irritate the wound or stick. I will always have this bottle handy and would definitely recommend it to others. The expiry date is quite long too. Apologies for the long review, I wanted to include everything so you know the details of the injury and how it really helped in my instance.

I used this with betadyn for my cats very long and deep laceration which ive no idea how she got. It took a while though.
