Q: Do you have to go through all the modes to turn it off? I would like to use at full power only can you do this without going through the other modes?

You have to go through the modes, three presses takes you to full power, then three more to switch off.

Q: What batteries does it take please so i can get some spares when i purchase it

Recharges with USB wire off pc, presumably to rechargeable batteries in case at back of torch strap.Ive only needed to charge it twice. Powerful head torch but I reckon you have to be careful not to snag wire from power pack at rear to torch at front.

Q: Does the charger plug have uk 3 pin plug so can plug into socket

Mine didn’t come with a charger plug just the cable to plug in the torch and to a usb charger.
