This isn't a typical experience, however I want to praise the Amazon customer service rep who helped me, I sure wish I recalled their name, but it's been a while ago. Via Amazon Warehouse I purchased the 4-pack for a slight discount. When I received them there was obviously one missing since the books are embossed with 01, 02, 03, 04. I went to the listing to verify if that was noted and I overlooked it, but no, there actually was a missing book. I contacted Amazon via chat, and explained the situation, expecting to need to provide photo proof which I had. This turned out to be unnecessary as the CSR rephrased back to me what I was saying, to be clear, and then said they'd refund and I could keep the books (I assume since they'd be just as problematic to sell again).As for the books themselves, they are great, easy to write on with the Symphony Livescribe pen I have, no issues or problems. This is the first and only set of LS paper/notebooks I have, but if they're representative of others, then they're great quality! The size is just big enough to be useful, but small enough to fit comfortable into most briefcases, backpacks, bags, laptop cases, etc. The covers are neither too stiff nor too flimsy, and the black on black embossed matte cover looks classy instead of gaudy.

I should have spent a little time reading the comments. This paper does not work with the Livescribe 3 pen. which is odd because they have the pairing button for the LS3 pen is on the inside cover.Livescribe support kindly pointed me in the direction of purchasing a new expensive pen from them. Needless to say, they have enough of my money.

they work well with the livescribe pen. But I wish they were a little more sturdy and just an inch on each side bigger. the A5 is a tad too small for full line writing.

I liked the other style of notebook. It had more options

It was not clear that this would not work with the Livescribe 3 pen. Now I can't return it and have lost my money.

Really Livescribe? I will say they notesbooks seem very sturdy, better than the previous version. Paper is same, just doesnt work with LS3.

it fell apart the first time I opened the notebook.I would not purchase again. I would not recommend.
