I had a Roman-style pizza with guava paste and cheese recently and wanted to try making it at home. I used this, and it came out exactly how I was hoping. This one is really easy to work with. It comes as a solid block, so it’s easy to cut into pieces without making a mess. I had bought a different brand before that came in a round can, and I actually ended up cutting my hand trying to open it. This feels a lot safer to use. It tastes great and has that perfect sweetness to pair with cheese. It’s also pretty inexpensive, so it feels like a really good value for what you get.

It's one of the major brands of Hispanic foods you find in all of the local markets there, and it's a brand known for quality at a good price. This is no exception. In the rural area where I live now the only Hispanic food that's readily available is Mexican. That means many of the delicious foods I grew up with in South Florida aren't available here. I had never had guava paste and was gifted some at Christmas. Different but delicious. I added some to barbecue sauce for chicken and it was great. Cubed some and pushed cubes into bran muffin dough before baking -- FABULOUS! So I was glad to find here and will order again.

First time trying guava paste. I used it in a cheesecake recipe and it turned out gummy and cloying. I understand it's an ethnic food I have zero experience with. I won't buy it again, as it is wasted on me. It arrived in secure packaging, fresh, is self-stable, all good things. It is sweet. Maybe I just picked the wrong recipe.

This is my favorite guava paste. It has a great flavor and is perfect for making desserts. I always buy it and highly recommend it.
