We moved into an older apartment and hair kept getting stuck in the shower drain so I bought these and they work wonderfully... No more hair down the drain...just clean the hair off the top and toss. I also bought these for my daughter and son in-laws new home, as they were having the same problem of hair getting in the shower drain...They just go over your existing drain and are so easy to use. I got many thanks from my daughter & son in-law as my daughter & granddaugter have very long hair..and it was becoming a problem.. such an easy and affordable fix to the problem !

Use on either side. In Hawaii we her centipedes up r drains so I got it to keep bugs out. Collects hair well. I have long hair & this is awesome

Does the job! But -1 star because it claims to “suction” to the bathtub to prevent movement and this really does not suction. But I only shower so I just place my foot on it while I turn the faucet on so it doesn’t move until I can lift the thingy to make it shower. Once on shower, it doesn’t move as there’s not enough direct water pressure/force to move it, so it works for me and quite useful for keeping my drain free of hair clogs. I’d buy it again as the non-suctioning is not a deal breaker for me.

We tried several other options for hair going down the tub drain, and these are far superior to anything else we tried. It is extra nice because the hair kind of circles into one collection, so you can easily pick it off and throw it away after each shower. Really pleased! It will move if you kick or bump into it, but otherwise stays put wonderfully.

I am so happy with this purchase. I was afraid to buy it because you have to remove the stopper in your tub, but that was easy. This catcher lays flat over the drain and DOES NOT MOVE! The plastic covers tend to float around allowing hair to slide past it. This catches everything. The gold has stayed vibrant even though I use a cleaner with bleach daily. The water has not backed up in my shower since I began using this product. The only thing upsetting is seeing exactly how much hair is lost with ever shampoo!

This hair catcher does its basic job of trapping a good amount of hair, which is helpful. The silicone edging is a nice feature to prevent scratching. However, it doesn't create a perfect seal. Some finer hairs can still slip underneath the edges. The main issue is that it doesn't sit completely flush on its own; I found I had to press it down with a heavy object (like a shampoo bottle) for a few minutes to get it to stay in place properly, otherwise it would lift slightly. It's an okay, low-cost solution, but it requires a bit of extra effort to work effectively. You may want to look for a model with a stronger suction or adhesive ring if you need a truly secure fit.

I have two showers, both with round drain hole in the center of pan but size is slightly different. This hair catcher works for both. Silicone ring keeps it in place. The holes are small enough to stop hair from slithering down the drain. I think this may not work well for tub drain hole that is under the faucet. Also the water pressure may play a role. In CA there’s law preventing high pressure fixtures when I remodels my baths (water conservation). Since the water from hand held isn’t high volume, this drain cover doesn’t budge.

Bought this to cover a sink hole in my shower cubicle that was looking worse for wear and would have been a lot of effort to replace. This fits perfectly and I love the gold design as it looks stylish. It is made of rubber and it stays in place well when I am in the shower. There was 2 in the pack which wasn't needed but may come in handy if this one starts to look tatty or I need another one in another part of the house. All in all very happy with my purchase and would recommend.
