The mount is sturdy and it is nice to be able to attach the top portion to my monitor and leave it. Just need to take off of the mount, no need to do any other steps to mount the monitor. The unit is on the pricey side, but I did buy 2 more.

This this is SICK! I know a few people have complained about this being loose, but I would imagine those are faulty units as I have this, and another base so I can swap my monitor back and forth easier, and both are incredibly solid. Definitely going to be outfitting an entire rig with HawkLock very soon.

This quick release holds SO strong! I love it. Clicks in clearly, and you have to use the trigger to click something IN & OUT. So not quite your typical drop in. My one issue is the built Arri safety pins (the two small pins to prevent spinning) a bit too long to be universal. They do the trip, but there is a slight gap in my mount and my monitor that should be closed.

i love how easy this works but the tension is terrible. i crank the tension and within minutes it’s loose. i’m constantly tightening so my monitor doesn’t flop

I use this on a daily with my camera perfect tilt and rotation for my Atomos Ninja 5, may need to tighten after some use but that should be normal with most mounts.
