Quality great
Great for making craft with kids . Good for the value. It just smells like rainy mud. You can make so many things out of one pack . Great for kids

Great product, easy for children to work with.
This clay has a fantastic texture and is very easy to work with. I used it with children between age 3 and 11 and all found it easy to manipulate into shape. It did take longer to dry than stated but that might just be the temperature of my classroom. A ziplock packaging would be very useful to help with storage. Would definitely buy again and is more cost effective than it's competitor which performs the same.

Fun for non-serious modelling of bulkier things
We bought a range of clays for the kids during lockdown to play with. We bought primarily the Fimo brand, but as well as this "Air dry" clay we also bought some "Oven Dry". I have to say I much prefer the oven-dry variety. The air dry clay starts to become crumbly quite quickly. You need to mould it into the shape you want relatively fast. Once it starts to dry out (just 5 to 10 minutes in the open air is enough), you cannot easily stick things to things, like handles to mugs that you're making. The handle just drops off, it's too dry, Once you've made your thing, you're supposed to leave it 24 hours, but I've had to leave things 48 hours before the colour goes uniform across the whole piece signifying it has fully dried. During the drying time it must be kept completely immobile. Any knock or vibration can break the joins of any pieces on the side. Once dried, it is quite brittle, so you can't make things with spindly attachments like you can with the oven stuff. You really can only make large bulkier items with big agglomerations of clay, like pendants, mugs, larger ornaments and stuff. The resulting dried output can be very wrinkly, so you'll probably need to apply some pretty gloopy paint to fill in any cracks. I've tried a thinned polyfilla solution with a brush and that seemed to work well to smooth out the wrinkles. Once dried, painting is easy, although the outer surface is a little dusty, so you may need to clean the brush periodically if you want a neat surface. Given that it's relatively inexpensive, and the kids don't really care about making super-neat fine art, this is great clay to play with... But you are faced with the dichotomy that you need to work with big chunks, but the bigger the chunk the longer it takes to mould, and the longer it takes, the drier it gets... So there's definitely an upper-limit to the size of piece you can work on! I'd recommend this for 3 to 6 year olds who want to have some fun with clay. Adults should supervise, handing out clay pieces, and ensuring the rest is kept wrapped up to prevent it drying out. If you have the money, though, I'd recommend the oven-dried clay. It comes in a variety of colours, stays malleable for longer, produces a less brittle result, and is ready in under an hour.

I've only used a small amount so far just to see if it would crack badly. It did crack but very small and easy to apply a bit more over them fixed the issue. Nice, soft, workable clay.
