LifePro BioRemedy Infrared Sauna Blanket for Home Relaxation Detox

I have been wanting to get a sauna for quite a while, but I only have experience with the typical steam or dry heat you have at spas or gyms. For home use Infared seems to be the most popular option, but I was wary spending $2000+ for something I have never tried before. This sauna blanket was just what I needed. And now I actually think I like this more than an actual sauna. Pros: The ability to lay down while using, a feature that would be hard to get from a traditional home sauna unless you can spend thousands of dollars and have tons of space. Heats up well and fairly evenly. Easy to get zip up and seems sturdy and well made. The arm holes are a must have! Timing and temp adjustable, with auto turn off. Can't beat the price point. Relaxes sore muscles. Cons: The heating elements can burn if you do not prepare. The first time I used it I ended up with vertical red lines all over, and that was at the lowest heat setting. They went away after a shower so no real damage done but I prepared better for the next session. Place a towel down on the bottom where you will lay or a least wear thick sweat pants. The remote control gets hot also, so be careful where you lay it down. I am very happy with my sauna blanket, use it almost every day and have worked my way up to max temp. I like to turn on some spa music and just relax. I hope it lasts a long time.

I already have another mini sauna that I can sit inside, but since I get sleepy sitting for so long, I decided to buy the sauna blanket instead. I’ve used it three times. The first two times I didn’t really sweat even though I had the temperature at the highest setting. The third time I stayed in for 60 minutes and kept my hands inside, and I finally got a good result. I would say it is necessary to wear thicker socks and long sleeves and sweat pants because the direct skin contact with heat is intense. I also put a towel underneath me to absorb sweat. But it’s nice to be able to lie down, listen to restful music, and enjoy the experience, then take a cold shower. Afterwards my body feels very calm, and I do notice that my body recovers faster from small injuries. (I’ve been using another mini sauna prior to getting the blanket but I see the effect is the same.) My husband runs marathons and loves the sauna benefits for faster recovery as well. I’m not sure how long the plastic odor lasts, but hopefully that dissipates over time. I like that it heats up quickly, it’s easy to use, and it has adjustable heat and time settings, and that makes a little sound when finished. I really like how it’s easy to clean, and then takes up so little space. By the way, if you live in a cold climate, you would love coming in from the cold and climbing into this super heated sauna blanket, especially if you feel cold to the bone! I bought one for my sister as a Christmas present because of that. Thank you for making a quality product!

This sauna blanket heats up fast and gets really nice and warm, giving me a great sweat without feeling overwhelming. It’s also surprisingly roomy — even a tall person can fit comfortably without feeling cramped. Super relaxing, easy to use, and a great addition to my routine!

Not only is this sauna blanket pink and super cute, but it’s also incredibly effective. I originally got it for detox purposes since I don’t have access to a real sauna, but honestly — who even needs a real sauna when you have this? It's amazing for sore, aching muscles or for warming up when I’m freezing. It’s super comfortable, and I love that it has slits for my arms so I can still read or play video games while using it. Plus, it's spacious enough that I can move my legs around, which makes it feel less restrictive than other sauna products I've tried. After 45 minutes, I leave this thing dripping — it works that well. As a healthcare provider, I actually recommend this to my patients who struggle with poor perfusion in their limbs or frequent body aches. It’s been a total game-changer for me, and I couldn’t love it more!

I suffer from autoimmune disorders and arthritis that cause stiff, achy joints and have found that heat helps relieve the pain. Living in the north with cold winters, I find myself heading to the local sauna to get some relief. However, the price of regular sauna visits to the spa don't fit my limited budget. The Black Friday specials prompted me to purchase the BioRemedy Sauna Wrap as a way to get the relief I need without breaking my budget. The ability to use this in the comforts of my home and at any time that fits my schedule was also an added benefit. I have found this sauna wrap gets just as hot and provides me the same relief as the big, spa saunas. So much so that I get that sweat that is needed for detoxification. I do notice that the foot of the wrap tends to get hotter than the top, but I'm guessing that is due to the arm holes (which are a nice feature). The upcoming winter doesn't seem so dreaded now that I have my new sauna wrap! Thank you LifePro!

I've had this blanket for a week now and have used it every other day. I can say without doubt that is my new favorite lifepro device. I started using it when I was just a few days back from an international (jet lag) trip and it helped me get back in my normal routine much quicker than I ever have. It's given me the best deep sleep of life, my fitbit sleep scores are amazing. It has helped mid back pain and pain in my foot. Definitely worth having! Adding now that we've used it for over 3 weeks, I don't know what I would do without it. It is wonderful for reducing pain and inflammation. Started to feel a cold coming on earlier this week. I spent 30 minutes twice daily in my bioremedy at 158° and it knocked the germs out of me in two days. It might not work like that for everyone, but I promise I will be in this twice daily any time I feel remotely sick.

This was my first sauna blanket and so when the zippers kept getting stuck on the shoulder/corners, I thought it was just part of the design. I also thought this would smooth out with use, but after about 6 uses, I was still getting stuck. Zippers are not really designed for corners, right? Wrong. I have since tried other blankets that have a corner zipper design and there are none of the same issues as I have been having with this blanket. Had I realized, I would have definitely returned this when I had the chance, because it is that annoying. I have felt like I was going to get stuck inside the blanket because of this. The zippers are also very large and clunky. They are all designed to be opened from inside or outside the blanket. That said, the blanket is easy to use, heats nicely and is made from a comfortable material. The instructions are well written and helpful. I did find the arm opening to be a little offset from where they would be comfortable but they are functional and nice to have. The design of the remote/cord seems strange to me, as I need to be very close to the plug in order to be plugged in. The remote is pretty straight forward and easy to use. Overall, I think there are better options out there, even though this comes highly rated.

Update: I was told that I would receive a full refund for this item because of the injuries it causes (after the return window, that was partly my fault, Amazon is so freaking hard to communicate with and it takes at least an hour and I didn’t have the time) without having to return the item. Luckily I didn’t throw it away, because after talking to them several times and then telling me each time they’d send me the refund, it never happened. The last person I spoke to on the matter told me I needed to return the item then I’d get a refund so he created a return label. So I returned it….got a refund for almost $40 less than I paid. I was like, whatever they’re such a pain to talk to, I don’t have the time. Fast forward 2 months later, I get an email saying that if I do not return the item they’re going to re-charge my card for the full amount. So I reached out to them to tell them the item had already been returned, and the refund they gave me was not the full amount, and since I had them on the line that I would like my full refund. An hour later, they told me they cannot do that because it was a restocking fee, and even though it was an injury case, they don’t have a way to refund me the restocking fee. Ridiculous. This gets extremely hot on the bottom and leaves red welts and burns on everyone. It takes about 30 minutes to start sweating once in it. I tried an affordable steam sauna that didn’t even work first so turned to this. Now it sits in a corner because it hurts to use and makes you feel like you’re about to pass out and recovery takes a good 30 minutes before you feel normal again. Super disappointed.

I love this blanket. So soothing and healing. Live the different temperatures settings and it cleans up easily. Great company highly recommend them.

Works great, I slept like a baby after using this for the first time.

On my second unit the first one was on a Government recall for overheating. LifePro recall didn’t come through but Amazon stepped up and sent a replacement. Both Blankets were missing a clip on the zipper but didn’t affect the use. OK unit depends on what you pay.
