Does it light dim on the 50cm?

We have the 500mm (50cm) one and it doesn’t dim.

How does the light work on it

Its a wired connection, so you may need an electrician. Then there is an led button on the mirror which you push to turn the light on/off. The colour of the light can also be changed. We love ours.

Is there a way to set this up with a sensor to automatically turn on when you are in front of it?

No, it's only controlled by the switches in the glass which you have to physically press. We also have ours wired up through a master on-off switch outside the bathroom, otherwise the mirror would remain on standby even when you turn it off with the switch in the glass. Hope this helps.

Can this be used with a plug?

Yes but you have to connect your own plug to the wire
