I love it. It was just what I needed for my personal coffee habits. Haven't used the carafe or the cup that came with it - just my own mugs. You do have to be mindful of when you're going to drink your coffee. There's no warming plate, so it will be cold if you don't use an insulated cup with a lid OR drink it immediately. With that said, it brews very quickly. I just brew it when I'm ready to drink it.

This machine is great for someone who just needs a cup or two in the morning. I purchased it after having used a single use system for over five years. I was getting tired of spending money for daily pods, and wasn’t feeling good about all the trash I was creating. (In all honesty, I do also have a Nespresso machine for lattes on the weekend, but with the new coffee maker, I’m now down to two capsules a week instead of seven, plus Nespresso takes back used pods to recycle). The Black & Decker machine doesn’t take up much space on the counter, and I think it’s pretty cute. Black is my favorite. The carafe holds “five cups”, which means it perfectly fills two mugs. As others have mentioned, there is no warming plate, so you have to be ready to drink your coffee right away. Saying this is a 4-in-1 is silly. I wouldn’t bother doing a pour over, and other than that, it’s just making coffee, the only difference is what you put it in. I have never once had to change the drip tray position. If I’m making two cups, I use the carafe, and if I’m making one, I just have it drip straight into a big mug. I do wish there was a drip stop so I could pull my cup of coffee midway. It takes about nine minutes for the entire carafe to fill. It really could not be simpler: fill with water, fill with coffee, turn it on, wait. There is a reusable metal filter included, but I have not used it. I opted for the very inexpensive, small size paper filters to make my cleanup quick. (Also there was a clear plastic mug included, which I personally think is useless, but fine). There is no auto shut-off, but since you really have to use the coffee right away, it’s easy to remember to flip the switch when you pour your cup. For me, this is an almost perfect coffee maker: small, simple to use, nice looking. Obviously this would not be a good choice for use with multiple people, but for two of us drinking one cup each it has worked out great!

THIS WORKS REALLY WELL

Perfect size for one person, easy to use. The only drawback is that the coffee isn’t very hot and doesn’t stay hot for long. I had to microwave it to get it to the best temperature.

The one complaint is, it doesn’t shut off on its own. It makes one of the best coffee because it brews it slowly and the option of single serve, traveling mug or 5 cups its the best. Highly recommended.

The coffee is not hot. If you don't drink it immediately after the machine stops making it, the coffee is barely warm. If you put milk or cream in your coffee, you will have to put it in the microwave if you want it hot. Minutes later you can actually touch the glass carafe with no discomfort at all. Also, it's a mess. Coffee grounds end up in the coffee and on the (heating?) plate. I don't put an excessive amount of coffee in the basket so I don't know (and don't care) why this happens. In the past I've had good luck with Black & Decker products, including coffee makers, but this one is a real lemon. Where was the QA department when this product was being manufactured???? Don't waste your money.

I gifted this coffee maker to my cousin who has very limited counter space and they love it. The shape of the pot is so cute and ergonomic looking. It is not bulky at all. It makes great coffee. It makes the 5 cups quick not like other coffee makers that take a while. I will buy this again for my own house. :)

Really nice coffee maker. Uses not a lot of space which is very nice. The ability to move the bottom to accommodate a travel mug is very good. The only slight thing is that if you don't finish pouring the entire coffee, the rest gets cold. But that's ok :)

I like all the features re mug, travel mug and pot choices. Appearance good to. Makes a good cup of coffee. Very disappointed that it does not keep coffee hot after brewing.

Bonjour je ne suis pas satisfaite il n y a pas de réchaud a la base de la cafetière une plaque en plastique rien d autres, Alors le café refroidi rapidement et pas buvableJe ne possède plus l emballage car j étais certaine d avoir une excellente cafetière et ce n est pas le cas. Merci de votre attention
