I think it’s great for the price. Yes not the best quality but a good quality sporran will run you way more than this one.

Very nice product. Good stitching and quality leather. I LOVE the colors on the fur. The chain it came with is WAY too long but that was easy to fix with pliers. Much better than too short. Looks great and I can't wait to wear it! Also REALLY FAST SHIPPING!!

Although I have not worn this for a long period of time as of yet, I needed a nice sporran as opposed to my old and worn out one for a special occasion. Although just a bit small than I expected (not too much smaller) it is a very nice piece in which the pictures do not do it justice. The sizing is wild because it could probably wrap around a 400 lb dude wearing a coat! But this is a whole lot better than being too small. I simply moved the clips on the chain in order to fine tune the adjustment which I liked much better than punching new holes in the leather.

sporran i received had an off white base with a few light tan stripes and loads of tiny brown specks pattern, i'm fine with it. The snap was real hard to use so i rubbed a tiny bit of paste wax around both the m/f sides and it works beautifully now, so it just needs a bit of lube. the chain is fine, but the clips holding the chain to the sporran and the strap are absolute garbage. i altered them by increasing the amount of overlap with some pliers but i have my doubts as to whether they'll last through the wedding i'm attending with my phone and stuff in the sporran. the leather straps are ok, but one is glossy and the other is matte. they're covered by my belt but it's unexpected. might hit the matte one with some paste wax, too. overall pretty happy, just nitpicking except the clips, those are a flaw, but an easily fixed one.

For the utterly cheap price, this is OK. Looks decent at a distance. Construction is OK, not great. Would not wear in a proper semi-formal environment, but for casual wear where there are none very knowledgeable about Scottish wear, it will do.

I absolutely hate it! NOTE = I only wrote that because I don't want anyone else to buy it. I love it so much, and it is unique compared to all the other sporrans that were being worn at the gathering. I loved the compliments and envy that I received. If someone else shows up to the next gathering with one of these, I will have to share the attention. But alas, I guess I can't dissuade you from purchasing this awesome piece of swag. So, I will have to live with the knowledge that at least I was the first to be dressed in awesomeness!

the cow hair looks neat. the clips are cheap and snag your kilt pulling threads out the kilt. I replaced with tiny carabiners to solve that issue. Then the threads on the back side that the chain piece slides under thread broke and threads coming undone during its wear. The chains holding the tassels are gonna break off with the slightest touch or pull through.these are the cheapest Chains ever .They are held in with tiny keyring that will scratch up what ever you place in the sporran. I taped them down to keep them in place/not be able to scratch my phone. The chain broke multiple times and I reattached the tassle. All these issues were within day 1 so be prepared to mend the sporran after 1 wear. Once I tended to all the issues it's now fine. And I wore it for a week straight with no issues. For the price I'm not complaining I knew what I was getting into for the unique look.

What a great sporran! And you can't beat the price. Bought my 14 year old daughter her first sporran finally and this one is perfect. It is adjustable as it comes with chains with hooks so there is plenty of wiggle room. The pouch is big enough for a phone and keys. This sporran looks expensive and is well made. I recommend this sporran.

Worked great, just a little stiff, but over time will soften up.
