- The Fittest Whole Feast Beef Protein Powder – Milk Chocolate, 21g Protein

Let’s start with the honest part: does it mix well? No. Does it foam? Yes. That’s simply the nature of beef isolate. Did I take a star off? Absolutely not—because this product is better than five stars. This was my first time trying a beef isolate, and I almost didn’t. After ordering, I noticed sunflower lecithin listed in the ingredients and immediately canceled and reached out to the company. They responded right away and explained that Amazon had an outdated label image—the current formula does NOT contain it. No seed oils. Period. That alone earned major trust from me, so I reinstated my order. It came fast with no shipping issues. Taste-wise, there is a slight bitterness underneath (likely from organ sources like liver), but the milk chocolate flavor does a great job masking it. I use this as a base in coffee, cocoa blends, mushroom mixes, and greens, and at this point I barely notice it. Now for what really matters: this protein delivers. I’m on a GLP medication and need to supplement protein to hit my macros—but whey absolutely wrecks my GI system. This product causes ZERO GI issues for me. If you’re on a GLP, you understand how huge that is. Bottom line: it’s not perfect in texture, but it outperforms where it counts—digestion, ingredients, and effectiveness. This is on auto-ship for me. (And for comparison—Equip chocolate didn’t work for me at all. This tastes better, feels better, and performs better.)

Love it. Blends well with my vitamins, creatine, and supplements in the magic bullet. A few cubes of ice, splash of cold water, a scoop of high fat yogurt, top it off with some milk, what a delicious treat!

For myself, this product has been amazing. I have read a lot of the reviews, and some were spot on with what I experienced as well. First, it doesn't blend well with cold products, to combat this, I use my shake bottle (the kind with a little metal whisking ball in it) to mix one scoop of powder in about a 1/4 cup of hot tap water. This seems to dissolve it perfectly. I then pour about a 1/4 cup of plain Greek Yogurt and top it off milk. It's quick and easy. Weekends, when I have more time, I will dissolve it in water, add my yogurt and milk along with some blueberries and strawberries and blend it. This is really yummy! Second, if you are sensitive to alternative sweeteners, like monk fruit and stevia, you will be able to pick up on their taste right away. I have a sweet tooth, so this is not a hinderance to me, but the chocolate is very sweet. I do find that the yogurt does bring down the sweetness level to some degree. Overall, I am extremely satisfied with this product for my attended purpose. I did subscribe to this product and my goal is to use it for at least 3-6 months. At that time I may try the vanilla or reassess how my body feels with it.

First off, I am not probably not the ideal demographic to which this product is marketed (though it looks like the product page on Amazon has changed somewhat). I'm not a body-builder, I don't obsess about my gains, nor am I a dominant king of all animal life on Earth, and so forth. That being said, I appreciate the quality ingredients in this protein powder -- which is the main draw for me. I am boggled by plant-based food in general, so it's terrific to find a protein powder that is not only compromised of grassfed beef, but also includes some dessicated organ meat, butter, tallow, etc. I use this protein powder primarily to (modestly) supplement my breakfast with some additional calories and nice nutritional punch. It's a tasty complement to my coffee (particularly the chocolate version, which I have purchased multiple times). The most recent bag I receive tastes the same, but for whatever reason doesn't mix as well as it had in the past. So I'd advise using a blender, frother, immersion hand-mixer, or some similar implement to get it to dissolve/blend satisfactorily. In my opinion, the poor mixing (and concomitant clumping) is the only drawback to this product. It'd also be nice if it was cheaper -- but good things don't always come cheap. Numerous reviews complain about the taste of this beef protein powder, but from the first moment I tried this I thought it was delicious. I've only used a few protein powders besides this one, and I typically find them to taste quite generic or downright "artificial", if you get what I mean. To provide a bit of "context" to my palate, I enjoy some organ meat, especially heart -- but I'm not the biggest fan of liver's strong "minerally" flavor. If you're a proud meat-eater looking for a great protein powder, give The Whole Feast a shot. You can do like I did and wait for a flash sale, if you're on the fence about it. For my money, one would be hard-pressed to find a better quality product that tastes this good and isn't tainted by BS ingredients/fillers. Animal-based is the way to go!

I have pernicious anemia and geographic tongue. Instead of high dosages shots of vitamin b12 and iron. I wanted to take a more natural approach of getting my vitamins and minerals. I know these vitamins and minerals works best together with other vitamins and minerals for other reason and absorption. I have come to a understanding that God Almighty designed the human body so intricate and perfect. He also gave humans all the necessities to feed our human bodies. We as people try to play God and try to make process foods thinking these are what our bodies need. Right now unfortunately I cannot eat organs yet. I am working up to it. But in the meantime I am taking beef organs supplements and now The Whole Feast protein. What I notice. My symptoms from the pernicious anemia has disappeared. No dizziness, no nausea, no constipation, no anxiety, no depression. My energy level is through the roof. I finally have the energy to finish a workout. My geographic tongue has gone into remission. My wife see's a difference in as well. The energy to do things and get out of the house. The Whole Feast taste is pretty good. To me, it's not sweet like how other people say in their reviews. I actually like the taste. I like the fact that mixes to a thicker consistency. Where other protein powders are watery. It doesn't upset my stomach like how a whey does. I believe I will continue to use The Whole Feast knowing I am getting the correct amount of vitamins and minerals that my body needs.

I really like this product. I started using it 16 months ago. I do believe that the organ blend has been beneficial to me. My ALT score (liver function) 16 months was 84. With new labs this last week, I'm at a healthier score of 47. The lowest they have tested at in a least 10 years. Now, I'm not full KETO at this time as I do have an occasional ice cream with my child or rolls from a steakhouse, so I can't say that it was done all by itself, but my numbers are better than what they were 8 years ago when I was strict KETO. I think this product is top quality and that the organ enzymes delivered through the ingredients will help a person to have their organs heal. I do wish the zipper to close the bag was a better quality zipper as it keeps separating from itself at the seam, but this is not stopping me from using this product as part of my daily meal ritual in the mornings. I highly recommend this product if you are looking to add organ enzymes to your diet.

Edit: because I'm struggling to find another protein powder with the same quality of ingredients I decided to give this one another try. My next big was really good so I thought maybe my bag was a one off. Then a couple of days ago I got another bag and this one tastes off and or rancid again. I contacted Amazon customer service and they were able to give me a one-time refund. I do not know what is going on with this brand but it is unacceptable and I will no longer be purchasing this product. --------------------- I've been getting this protein powder for several months using subscribe and save and it has always been good. A few days ago, I opened a new package that had been delivered to me on August 20th. It tastes absolutely gross. I don't know if you would describe it as spoiled or rancid but it is NOT GOOD. I had just received a new bag on Monday, so I opened that one, tasted it, and it tastes just fine. So there is definitely something wrong with this bag. I would have liked to have contact the seller to request a refund or exchange for this bag but could not find any way through Amazon to do so and I just missed the return window. I would really appreciate it if the company would contact me and I would be happy to edit my review if they're able to make this right. This protein powder is way too expensive to just throw away a whole entire bag.
