Mountain Ocean Skin Trip Moisturizer, Coconut, 8-Ounce

Love love love this lotion. Clean ingredients. Light and absorbs easy. Not at all greasy. Smells great. Literally my go to for prob 20 years. Price keeps going up though, but inflation yo. Makes my skin soft and hydrated with being hot heavy or greasy. I moisturize legs in am and my legs are lovely all day. My hands, well I am a chronic hand washer so I use it quite a bit. Their soap is amazing too!

Seller rating is five stars for sure. Item arrived super quick and without any damage or leakage.I'd give Skin Trip ten stars if I could, because it is one of the best lotions you can ever use. It's the only thing I use to moisturize my entire body, including my face. I have replaced all of my specialty beauty lotions and creams with this one lotion. It really is a miracle in a bottle. It has limited ingredients which is important for my extremely sensitive skin. I have super cranky, ultra sensitive, breaks-out-if-I-sneeze sort of skin. I get compliments regularly how great it looks.Your skin feels velvety soft because it the consistency is thinner than a traditional lotion. Is spreads out evenly and absorbs ultra quick. You can add more if you feel like you aren't moisturized enough, but you probably will be, and because it's so light you'll never be left with greasy, clogged pores. I use it after sun exposure and literally for everything that needs healing. Coconut oil is naturally antiseptic, ultra moisturizing, skin protecting, and has a natural SPF of about 4. So it's great on nearly everything you throw it at. Can't tell you how many hundreds of dollars I save with the top four items alone. My regimen consists of:1) Clarisonic face brush (I swear by this--it will change your life for the cost of two good facials and all of the extra products to clarify, exfoliate, deep clean your face you will no longer have to buy)2) Dove bar soap (that's right, bar soap)3) Skin Trip Coconut Moisturizer on my face and full body.4) Baking soda for exfoliation (as needed)So that's it. No toners, no night creams, no peels, special exfoliants, wrinkle or eye creams. The only thing I can foresee is those in colder climates may need an additional heavier lotion or cream if exposed to heaters and the elements quite a bit. It gets pretty cold here in the winter, and I have found I end to reapply and more liberally than in warmer times. It still works perfectly just more is needed to retain the moisture for longer periods. Or I use pure coconut oil to give that extra layer or protection without congesting my skin.Tips for using Baking Soda in your beauty regime: Make a paste with some water and dip a cleansing brush in it or slather it all over with your hands and do a face and body scrub. It's super softening and a gentle enough texture to be used by anyone. I usually keep a plastic tub of it in the shower and just scoop handfuls of it and scrub away. Great for softening rough feet even if you feel like you aren't scrubbing very much. Soft feet secret: after your baking soda once over in the shower, slather on the Skin Trip Coconut Moisturizer generously while your feet are still warm, and throw on some socks over top. Do this before bed and wake up with super soft, rested tootsies in the am.Hopefully this review helps you and that you have the same amazing experience with this lotion as I have. My only complaint is that I did not get the three pack. This has been my go to lotion that I use every single day right out of the shower.If I could describe the scent to you, it is not a generic coconut scent as you will find with some lotions. This is more clean smelling almost like you took the scent right off the coconut. I have extremely dry skin and since I started using this lotion, I have not had to use a back up lotion. With some lotions that I have purchased, I will have to use a more heavy moisturizer on top of the original one due to severe dryness. That is not the case with this amazing lotion.I will be getting more soon as I am halfway through the bottle, but it has lasted me a little more than a month so far. A little goes a long way as this is a bit more watery than your typical lotion. Be careful when you tip the bottle because it will pour right out.I love it! I have zero bad things to say about the lotion except that I wish I would have got the three pack! Worth every penny and you smell so fresh and so clean and the scent lasts a few hours.

This is the best lotion I have ever used. Better than any lotion doctors have recommended.I have psoriasis on my palms. I have tried many many products to help hydrate my hands to keep the psoriasis from painfully cracking and growing. Nothing has worked Except skin trip!Besides the positive results on my palms, the skin on my hands look healthier and happier. I’ve begun using this lotion all over my body. My legs are also loving it. The lotion isn’t greasy and dries quickly. To me it smells like play-Doh, but I don’t care. The results are worth it! Not saying it stinks. It doesn’t. It just took me a sec to get used to it ;). I highly recommend this product.

I have been using Mountain Ocean for years as a facial moisturizer. As a man we are not really taught to take care of our skin - at least I was not. This is a thin lotion as opposed to a thick cream that my wife would use. I like the fact that it soaks in quickly and does not leave a shine on my skin. It soaks in and my skin looks normal. It is very soothing when I put it on my face.I like the coconut scent, but that dissipates quickly so you are not going around smelling like a pina colada.This does not have any sun skin protection and that is a plus to me. I do not need sun screen every day and if I do I will put it on. I worry that sun screens are hard on my skin.I use to buy this at the grocery store but the price kept going up and I save a few dollars by buying a 3 pack on Amazon.This is a high quality lotion that I highly recommend.

I have been using Mountain Ocean Skin Trip Moisturizer since I was 16-17years old. I am 56. So for 40years. I have very sensitive skin & need a moisturizer that feels good and soaks in and doesn't irritate. I love this just after a shower. Not greasy. Its light & smooth. I also love the light coconutty scent. I cant wear perfume so I use scented lotions. This one is my favorite. A reliable, great product. Time tested for 40 plus years!! I'm a big fan.

I wanted something that had the scent of coconut, tropical, yummy. After receiving it and trying it, I fell in love with it. It smells yummy and tropical and like coconut. My husband loves it as much as I do. I am hoping I can use it on my face as a moisturizer as well as arms, etc. I put it initially on my arms and found it just melted (perhaps a better word would be it absorbed into my skin, etc.) No greasy feel. I am a teeny bit concerned because there is a note on the bottle that says "best when used fresh". I know not to freeze it or allow it to get ultra hot but not sure what "fresh means". Will it last a few months? weeks? I do not see a date on it showing a Use by Date or anything. Other than that I really do like thisAddition: Have been using it a few days now. Still love this stuff! I have been trying to see if I can be a bit more specific about the scent. Yes it is coconut but I think I will add it gives me a feeling coconut/sun tan lotion scent. That is what I was looking for. Very tropical, very light sent too. Not overwhelming. Have gotten several compliments and people asking me what I have on. I am still amazed as to how quickly it resolves into my skin. One other thing. I do like the ingredients. I am not an expert on this type of stuff but the first ingredient is Purified Water, second is Coconut Oil and third is Aloe Juice. From there we get some things that I don't know what they are, but to be honest I don't care. I like these "main ingredients", love the scent and love the feel. It's a done deal for me.

Smells good. Applied thinly and dries in quickly. Not sure I'll buy it again, but did a decent enough job to satisfy me.

I did a round of research around skin lotions in the natural space and came to this product; I have been using it for a month now and it is really working for me specifically as I enjoy coconut and also the texture does quickly absorb - and good for the creators as there is an tangible essence of freshness!
