Can you cook a hamburger on it?

Well I’ve never thought about trying to cook a burger on it because I’ve never cooked burgers in the microwave but you probably could. I can’t think of any reason why you could not cook a burger on it

Is there a cover that comes with this? Does it make a mess in the microwave?

No cover for this. I cover my bacon with paper towel in it and do not have a mess in the microwave. It is however time consuming to clean thoroughly but I still prefer this over plastic bacon cookers.

My new microwave will have a 11.3 " turntable. Will this bacon cooker fit this dimension? If i purchased a dome style grease cover, will it fit?

I would say no…. My micro glass turntable is 13” and the square bacon rack is 11 1/2 “ diagonally and just fits inside the edges allowing turntable to spin freely while turning.

willit work on a 12 inch round turntable?

Yes, I have a Whirlpool above the range microwave, with a 12” turntable.
