The RGB options and adjustable brightness make it perfect for creative lighting setups. The build quality feels solid, and the battery life is impressive. Whether you’re using it for photography, video, or content creation, this light is a great addition to any setup. Highly recommend!

This is a fantastic light that does exactly what it says. I use it for terrarium photography where I need to light nocturnal animals and for that specific reason its perfect, but I also plan to remove it from the camera and just use it to light anything and everything when I'm shooting videos. Its not for lighting an entire person or anything, but it does exactly what's its meant to do and it does it fantastically.

The SmallRig RM120 has been solid with great battery life, great features, good enough brightness for most applications and fits easily is my bag.If you are looking for a good light at a reasonable price this might be the best and easiest option out there.

As with most things with the Smallrig brand name, it is overpriced. The build quality seems to be really good and in time I will be able to tell about the quality of the battery and the life span. Normally will not purchase anything with an internal battery because the tend to have short lives and do not provide a good ROI. There are some pretty good features included with this little beast. The ability to change the color temperature, the ability to change thee output and the ability to recharge using a USB C cable. The included silicon diffuser is a nice thought but, ill fitting. something that simply covers thee LED units would be so much better. The inclusion of the ball head is also a worthwhile feature. Satisfied at present with the purchase, time will tell.

This thing is awesome.Alright, so I was having trouble finding a cold-shoe light that I could use specifically for product photography, without the annoying hot glare you typically get with LED’s. I purchased multiple options, all of which failed miserably until the Smallrig. It is just large enough to not be intrusive, and diffuses the light very well for portrait photography use.The dinners/warmth dials feel “expensive” and not like they’re going to break, and the rig being metal is awesome and makes me feel much more confident that this thing will stand the test of time.

Very good Light, I’m using this on my Sony a 7ii, mostly as continuous light for photosGreat options and colors, reliable on the battery, and you don’t need to have it at 100% all the time most of the time I have it around 40 to 50 and it’s a really nice feature to be able to change the temperature of the color (from cool colors to warm colors) the size is pretty portable. It’s roughly the size of a phone .

Bought two of these and have been using them as key and fill lights on photo and video shoots for the past two months. The colors are deep and bright. Used both to light a night scene in the middle of the woods and they worked great. I got 4 hours on a full charge.

Great light that I attached to my top handle for better and very mobile video lighting. Battery lasts long and it's quite powerful light as well. Lasted me well over a whole day of a 12 hour shoot where I shot dozens of interviews close up (but I turned off the light in between recordings of course).Only downside I can think of is that the effects don't have a lot of settings and a cold shoe with anti twist pin doesn't really fit when the diffuser is attached - but I managed to fix this by cutting the silicone strip that blocks the cold shoe from fully connecting to the screw hole + anti twist pin hole.

Cette lampe est parfaite. Elle éclaire très bien, je l'ai laissée allumée à 100% elle a duré dans les 3h30. Smallrig oublie de préciser qu'elle n'est pas RGB mais RGBW, ce qui est beaucoup mieux puisqu'elle fournit en plus un blanc parfait et une multitude de pastels vraiment très jolis. Elle peut être fixée de façon horizontale ou verticale. Je l'ai achetée pour la macro et là je suis sûre qu'elle ne va pas me lâcher au bout de 20 minutes. Son gros diffuseur souple qui peut être retiré bien sûr fait office de très bonne protection. Elle fonctionne quand elle est en rechargement. Vous pouvez vous en servir pour mettre de l'ambiance tout simplement. J'ai fait une erreur à la commande, j'en ai commandé deux sans m'en apercevoir. Et bien je garde les deux !

I bought this as a portable fill or emergency light for video and it does this very well. It can provide illumination in different colours and flash to represent police fire brigade etc.It feels solid but is small and light enough to keep in my camera bag all the time.I’ve also found it great for use with my iPhone. Mobile phones don’t do well at higher iso and this light can be good for a stop of two at a push.
