My favorite color remover for semi permanents
The only color remover I'll use for semi permanent colors. My hair is compromised already bc it's been bleached. I've used this color remover 3 times now (with dark purple, pink, and red) and I've never had any issues. It is gentle and does not damage my hair at all. It smells very strong of ammonia, and it will lift virgin hair/regrowth a couple shades. To me, these aren't negatives, it's just something that comes with the territory and that one should be aware of and expect with this type of product. I'll continue to purchase this in the future!

Did NOTHING!!
I was so excited about this product since it claimed to remove semi-permanent dyes. I've been coloring my hair for years and using all kinds of crazy products. I never had a product fail me so bad! I wasn't expecting miracles, but I was hoping this would at least knock out some of the vampire red manic panic. It was very strong smelling like any other very strong product, but it did nothing to my hair whatsoever. I saw some red rinsing out, but it doesn't show. I'm also ticked that it has ammonia and peroxide in it, so I just damaged my hair for nothing! Should have just went straight for a bleach bath! And not waste my money! Ugh!! 😩

Like Magic
Works so well when removing color, Ive used this product many times and though you do need to be in a well ventilated place because of the strong smell you wont have to deal with it for long because by the time youve finished rubbing it Into your hair the color will have vanished! Ive been dying my hair for years and nothing gets it out quite as quickly

Works but not perfectly
(3rd picture is a before) So I died my hair with splat pink fetish about a month ago, I was under the impression that it would come out in 30 washes because of the box, which is completely untrue. So I had started to get sick of my pink hair and wanted my natural blonde back. I tried the baking soda and vinegar method, lemon juice and baking soda method and a mixture of both methods with shampoo and nothing worked. So I came on amazon and saw this, I figured I would try it out. First of all, this product STINKS. Not like rotten eggs as some of the other reviews say, it smells like bleach but 10 times worse. I applied this in my bathroom with the door and window open and could still barely breathe because of how potent the smell is. It makes your eyes and nose BURN. I left it on for 20 minutes like it says and then washed it out. It was not as bright but it was definitely still there after that so I did another round. I waited another 20 minutes and washed that out. I noticed that my pink is much lighter however it is not completely gone. Another thing to think about is if you’re a blonde this does bleach your hair a bit and make it orange (as pictured) it’s not horrible but you can definitely tell that it’s slightly orange. I’m sure this is a great product on certain colors and hair types but it didn’t completely work on my pink fetish splat dye. Unfortunately I’m gonna have to go to a salon in order to get this out before school. It definitely works just not the way I was hoping for. Hope this is helpful!

Works well but BEWARE OF SMELL
Overall, the remover worked really well. For reference, my hair is medium length, dyed platinum blonde (about an inch or so of brown roots), and had been colored orange. It didn't get all the color out of my hair, but I realized (too late) that I didn't saturate certain areas well enough (the areas I did saturate well had virtually all of the color removed; my hair was blonde again). My hair felt pretty similar after, though I did notice some dryness (as to be expected), but a good deep conditioner fixed it right back up. I do have a few warnings, though: 1. listen to the instructions about not letting it process for more than 20 minutes. The top half of my hair processed longer because of how long it took to do the bottom layer, and it started to lighten my dark brown roots. It isn't super noticeable, but it is definitely about two shades lighter (looks like I put in a bit too much Sun-In). 2. make sure you really saturate your hair. I had quite a bit on my hair, but a few patches weren't quite saturated enough, so there is still some color left. 3. USE OUTSIDE! The chemical smell is stronger than anything I've ever used before (I am not typically sensitive to chemical smells, but WOW), and I've abused my hair pretty consistently for the past 8 years. I tried using it while in the bathroom with the vent on and the door open, but the smell was so strong that my eyes were watering, and my nose was burning. Once I went outside, it was fine. Definitely use outside or in a VERY WELL-ventilated area if outside isn't an option.

Love this product
I've used this product multiple times now. It has removed the most difficult vibrant colors even after bleaching didn't work. I've seen no noticeable damage from it and I change my colors every 2 months.

Don't use this product
I honestly thought this would help me get some very stubborn fox dye off my hair. To be clear I had my hair sort of a light brown prior to dying it red with fox dye. I thought this color would take most of the red off and leave my hair closer to what it was before but it did not. First of all the smell of this product is really strong so if you want to try it which I do not recommend please use it in a well ventilated area. The chemicals are so strong in this product that it ended up ruining my curly hair and now I cant wear it curly anymore. I have naturally curly hair and the color I wanted removed didn't even get removed at all it just got stronger. Here are some pictures for reference, the first one is my hair before anything done to it, the second one is after I used artic fox hair dye which is a semipermanet color. The third one is of my hair after a lot of washes with a faded color and the last one is right after washing the color remover.
