An excellent addition to any modelling collection, whether it requires precision or not
Its been about 20 years since I've played Warhammer, but somehow it's crept back into my life! Since the Citadel branded is as expensive as their models I thought I'd look around for a cheaper alternative and stumbled across this Revell option. After reminiscing over my younger years of putting Airfix models together, getting glue all over my hands, the models and the desk, I bit the bullet and ordered this "professional" option. I genuinely wish I had found this in my teens and younger years, it would have made everything so much easier and less messy! The needlepoint is a lot finer and much more accurate than I was expecting. The point is roughly 1.5 inches long to get into those fine nooks and crannies. In order to get the glue out, you can either gently tip the point downwards and/or apply a tiny amount of pressure to the main body. By "tiny amount of pressure", I mean like holding a mouse/hamster firmly enough to comb, but not run away (now there's an image!). The design of the body prevents glue from continuously pouring out when you set it down properly, so no more pools of glue on mum's kitchen table (or yours!). However, one problem I did notice was that if you put the cap on fully and then remove it, if there is residual glue on the neck of the needle the cap will remove the needle from the body. But by putting the cap on far enough to hold tight, but not all the way down, you can easily remove the cap without taking the needle with it. It's great for adding glue to ultra-fine edges (such as Warhammer pieces) and spreads surprisingly well over much larger areas, without wasting glue. Good points - Easy to use. - Fine needle-point for precision glueing. - Naturally stops glue from pouring out when you put it down. - Handy cap to stop it from drying out. - Bonds plastic together within seconds. - Takes little pressure to get the glue out. - Almost no solvent "smell". Not-so-good points - The needle comes out if there is glue in the cap. - It takes so little pressure to squeeze glue out that you may well surprise yourself when using it the first couple of times. Overall This is an excellent addition to any modelling collection, whether it requires precision or not. Easy to use and suitable for just about any age that knows not to eat/inhale modelling glue!

plastic glue
Glue comes out at a nice constancy not to think but not to thin. only to be used to glue plastic model kits together and not for anything else. Nozzle will become blocked over time but heat it up will dislodge the dried glue in the metal nozzle. still good value for money as no glue is wasted. Dries in 15 mins to handle but over night for it to be fixed strong

Ideal for plastic models
This is great for constructing plastic model kits. I wish that this product had existed when I was a child will stop I put together a car along with my son and we made a decent job of it. More importantly he was able to use the glue satisfacturally so that he could actually do the construction without too much help from myself. The glue itself is easy to apply using the applicator. We didn't have much problem with the applicator blocking up which surprised me. A very useful product in a great form.

Time tested!
Ive been using this glue since I was around 10, fast forward twenty years and its still my absolute go to. The only gripe (which was a gripe 20 years ago as well) the nozzle can and will get clogged, so make sure you've a pin handy to clear it alternatively use a lighter to gently heat the metal to clear any blockage. This works really well, it sticks things as it should (its not super glue so don't expect miracles) and with miniatures such as warhammer actuslly melts the plastic ever so slightly to bond it so with plastic models or minis once this sets that it. It dries with good speed and last for ages since with the nozzle you can really control how much goes on and not end up with a huge uncontrollable blod that stirs you into a panic (as tube glues will ultimately do). Overall i really recommend this, the smell is pure nostalgia for me and it works perfectly unchanged from when I was a lad. A good ampunt of glue for the price and you really can't go far wrong with this.

Needle needs a re-think.
The needle is not secured in the container tightly enough, so when it inevitably leaks inside its cap it'll constantly get stuck in there. Also, leaks. The bottle takes very little pressure to make glue come out, but this means that it's hard to apply thinly, and again, makes the needle stick inside the cap. Glue is good enough, though a faster dry-time would be nice. The slow dry-time means with troublesome models you can gunk the plastic up as it melts and fiddle with very complicated bits. Compared to Humbrol's offerings this definitely takes longer to reliably set. I've found that unlike Humbrol's offerings this acts more like super glue, and will leave you with tacky fingers that will keep lifting peices off your model or start melting plastic as you handle them.

Well worth the cost
If/when I get around to building the two Airfix kits it will be used. Not a build issuie more a case of where to put them - looks like some of the Lego is going to have to be sold :/

Revell una garanzia
Colla fantastica... ne faccio uso per il modellismo aereo statico, i pezzi si incollano velocemente senza lasciare fili di sbavature. Che dire? Lo compro da anni, quindi...

Very good glue. Highly recommend
Wish they would have had this glue years ago. The best glue hands down that I have ever used. So able to keep things neat with the needle applicator. Set up time is quick but not too quick.

Great model glue.
This is a must have if you build plastic models. No more gloppy messes of glue everywhere. This allows you to place the glue exactly where you want it.
