Quality at a great price
This reel is excellent. It has a smooth action, strong drag, and high quality line on it. It is also lightweight and looks good. Another review mentioned noise, but my reel is completely silent on the retrieve. For the price paid it it amazing, made of high quality materials and it arrived early too.I used to have a LN70 reel on my beachcaster, and it served me well until the anti reverse gave out. I bought this one, the Hunter Pro, to replace it. From the minute I picked up the rod this reel felt noticeably better, the difference in weight is amazing. This reel is much lighter, which really makes casting more comfortable and general handling much better. This reel has been on two outings with me now, and has operated very smoothly on both occasions. The first, it was cast many many times and performed perfectly, though I didn't hook a fish with it. All fish that day fell to a lighter spinning rod.The next outing, I caught 7 thornback rays with this reel. The two biggest are shown in these photographs. The reel performed flawlessly again, it is definitely strong enough for the job.

Not a bad little reel!
Not a bad reel, hard to complain for the money! Nice and smooth, good ratio, feels fairly sturdy. Doesn't feel expensive but I didn't expect it too.Loaded with 20lb line but not fully loaded which was a slight disappointment, but overall still feel this is a 5 star item.A read a lot of reviews before deciding to buy this one. A lot said 'you get what you pay for' and often gave fewer stars. This one, I think you get more than you pay for.

It does the job.
The Reel is good, only thing that i've found is that i think with a heavy fish on it won't manage like a dearer reel. I'm enjoying using it, but at the end of the day it is a lesser priced reel, so not expecting miracles.

It's not big!!
Ok it's a nice "little" reel, but not as advertised "surf". If you're looking for spinning reel this is ideal but not surf! I tried it on my beach caster with a 5oz break out lead on and after 2 casts I reverted back to my old one. It struggled reeling in the weight alone, would hate to think how it would handle a half decent fish too!!

cheap light reel
I have manage to test the reel last week. 2no congers landed; 7lb (on photo) & 10lb - no major issues. One tech comment - reel top part is not wide enough and become wobbly when you tow the fish.Happy to recommend this reel not only for the beginners.

Fantastic value for money
Very good reel for the price, i've used it for sea fishing and beachcasting and it hasn't once let me down. Very sturdy and a good size. I managed to fit 300m of 30lb 0.23 8 strand comfortably.Thinking of buying a second as a backup

Dont waste your time
Got this based on reviews and must say it's a load of rubbish took it out fishing on boat and 1st thing I noticed when I caught my first fish was the real was going side to side then after catching about 5 fish I had about a 4 pound fish on and the reel just broke snapped in 2 and I got 2 of these 1 for me and 1 for my father so the other 1 is going in bin not even wasting my time with it
