OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Shaker Set Transparent, Black

Once I received these I did think they felt a bit on light side I thought they would be heavier but that's ok,They work very nicley as far as the contents staying free flowing, you don't need the bang these to clear clogged holes all the time and I love that.I have also used the quick pour spout as well handy when your cooking,although not the smoothest action I did think they would have been finished to slightly higher standard but that's being very picky.They hold plenty as wel, l that paired with the free flowing salt and pepper what more can u ask for?

The OXO Good Grips brand is nothing to do with the British oxo cube maker, but part of the large American “Helen of Troy” company – the oxo name is used under license in the UK and Ireland. This OXO Good Grips Stainless Steel Salt and Pepper Shaker Set – Transparent/Black is well designed and well made and each shaker has a different hole pattern for dispensing either salt or pepper – although they are not designated as such. The clear plastic makes keeping an eye on the fill levels easy and is BPA free which a lot of people prefer for food grade products. The stainless steel top can be used to sprinkle for table use but also has a side spout for dispensing larger quantities for cooking purposes. The shakers are not dishwasher safe but only need a quick hand-wash between re-fillings. We looked at quite a few similar products before deciding on this set and have not been disappointed – a good value salt and pepper set that is ideal for everyday use.

Simply 'Brilliant' Salt and Pepper shaker. The dispensing holes in the top are a wee bit larger than we have been used to on other shakers but these were always clogging up - even with rice grains inside them to keep the salt dry, but we've got the hang of it now. These are great, and the pouring spout to measure pepper or salt (ie a teaspoonful etc) is very good too. We bought these to match the OXO 'Good Grips Salt and Pepper Grinders' as there is always the ocassion that you don't want need to grind salt or pepper. They are well made and I expect these to last a very long time.They arrived very promptly - well within the time frame specified, and they fitted through our letter box OK. The packaging was very good and more than sufficient to ensure no damage. If I needed to buy these again I would use the same Seller.

Love these - I keep them on my worktop for use when I'm cooking. I can grip these easily - great when you have arthritic hands. The only slight issue is the pouring spout - it pours a little too fast resulting in oversalting at first, although I'm sure I'll get used to it and adjust. I just wish they had lids to keep the salt dry - how about it, Oxo?

I love this idea, the pour function is great! No more using lots of pots. They look so stylish on the table and are heavier than expected which is great as you know there going to last.

great value, a little more expensive than some, but these are the best, large size, thick material, wide filling hole, and just very big and sturdy

Love these. We like coarse ground pepper which won't fit through the holes. However the little spout means you can tip it out and sprinkle it on.Great idea!

love these. They doin't let moist in as easily. The screw close tightly, nothing comes out on the sides. Also find the little hatch on the side handy, for when you need some more quantity. Easy to refill and clean as well.

Le faite que l'ont puisse saupoudrer par le dessus ou verser une plus grosse dose fait tout dans cette ensemble (pratique je trouve surtout avec le sel).Plus grand aurait encore été mieux ( je trouve), mais qd même hyper pratique au quotidien d'avoir un bel ensemble qui peut aussi bien aller au bord de la cuisson que sur la table ensuite.

These shakers are exactly what I wanted. I like how they are pretty and functional. It is nice to see right through them to know when they are getting low and need to be replenished. But, I also love the pour spout they have on the lids. Very convenient when I need to fill a measuring spoon without spilling.

These are awesome! They are light weight, feel sturdy and have an external layer of plastic around the container for the spice or salt so if you drop it, it probably won't crack and make a mess.Additionally, the stainless steel tops work well. The one with less holes is better for salt and the one with more holes is better for black pepper.Each has a pop out pouring spout, which is really handy if you need to add salt to water for pasta, or add salt to a measuring spoon.
