I wasn't sure what to expect from these cymbals but I took a shot on them based off of the positive reviews I've seen here, and I'm really happy that I did. I don't think you could go wrong for the price. They only thing I would say is that if you prefer heavy/pingy cymbals you probably won't be into them. If you light a light washy sound though they're good. The cymbals themselves are very musical. They definitely have some high end that won't be to everyone's ear but they're well balanced. Don't expect them to sound like a regular B20 cymbal - I would say they sound like they have a high pass filter on them and they have some They feel nice to play but they're obviously very light. The 18" especially reminds me of a light crash/ride cymbal and it feels very natural playing a jazz ride pattern on it. And I would say all the cymbals have a natural response. The hi-hats do feel lighter under the foot as well obviously and I think because of that you lose some of the different articulation options ( So far I'm only able to get one type of bark but maybe I'll get used to them) They're probably the least pleasant sounding as well - especially if they're left washy - but the closed sound is definitely interesting. It has a drum machine vibe to it. Maybe what surprised me most about the cymbals is that they're crashable. I've tried other ones before and they tend to be very dead but these respond nicely to sticks. If you're looking for something that will sound exactly like a set of regular cymbals this ain't it. But if you're looking for something that will approximate the feel and also give some new interesting musical texture they're worth a shot

Not as quiet as I had hoped. The quality is good, and they look good. I use Remo Silent Stroke skins which are very quiet, so now the cymbals are a bit loud for the practise skins.. If adding a gel or tape to the cymbals they sound terrible as they don't shimmer or splashhh - You will have to tune the drum bottom skins for more volume and resonance which gives a bit better equilibrium between the cymbals and drums. Price wise they are superb

Fantastic cymbals at an amazing price, if they did different sizes, as in a small set, I would definitely buy again. I used some gaffer tape on them to change the sound, all sounded mint but preferred them without tape, I didn't need hi-hats so split them , using 1 on its own, and the 2nd one upside down on top of the 18inch, gives it a different tone, I have a hybrid kit and these fit in snuggly ( sound wise ) overall definitely recommend, thank you 😀

I'd not tried low volume cymbals before. I thought I'd try a relatively cheap set to try them out. I wanted to use them in our rehearsals - which are in a general office unit type space (not a proper sound-treated music room). Normal cymbals are pretty noisy in that environment and I was having to play normal cymbals somewhat artificially to avoid overpowering everything else. As I'm not a great drummer, and am focussing on learning songs, I'd rather spend my limited brain/body power on other aspects! For this purpose I've found they work very well - I can smack the things normally without worrying about piercing anyone's eardrums or overpowering guitars and vocals (which I'd like to hear!). They would probably disappear in an open air environment - but I think I will try one at a future open-air gig because I think they may work nicely as an 'accent' cymbal. So, good stuff. They'd also work well in a pub jam night / open mic night - where people often find drums, particularly cymbals, to be overpowering, especially because relatively unsophisticated drummers like myself don't yet have the experience or control for subtlety.

I recently purchased an acoustic drum kit which came with standard cymbals. I needed something more low noise so not to annoy everyone within a 100 yards of my house. Having a limited budget I researched different brands and decided to give these a try. I must admit I was a little sceptical about the quality but once delivered and opened I was really impressed. Great quality build, look impressive and deliver a great sound. Would highly recommend these to anyone looking for low noise cymbals.

these are genuinely really good. I didn’t know what to expect really but for the price, they sound great and they’re leagues quieter than my regular gigging cymbals. You don’t really compromise on tone either, they’re a bit “pingy” and the hats feel very washy and jazzy but for a rehearsal space where you want to hear everyone else and not wreck your ears they’re 10/10. Obviously they’re lighter than your standard cymbals so they take a spot of getting used to but I’m genuinely so impressed, zildjian need to watch out with these on the market.

Just received these Sonicake Low Noise cymbals form Amazon. Bought them for my practice room and for teaching. Yes the sound is ‘tinny’ compared to ‘real’ cymbals but I feel these hold up really well to any of the much more expensive low noise brands. Hi hats give a very nice ‘chick’ and if you’re listening to music on headphones they cut through quite well. I’m well please with these and at the price they are, compared to say L80s or the other ‘name’ brands, they are a bargain. Can’t speak for longevity but I’m a jazz drummer mainly so I expect they’ll be fine. Not sure how any of these types of cymbal would hold up to heavy rock drumming. Overall, great value, good sound (for this type of cymbal) and a great set of sizes. 14” hats, 16” and 18” crashes and a 20” ride.

These cymbals are great. Fantastic value. I play/practice on electric as well, these cymbals allow me to practice in my house without annoying neighbours or family. The tone is good and the feeling is like hitting my normal cymbals. I haven't tried gigging with them yet but I feel they would need to be amplified but then that's not the point of them. Highly recommend.

Elles sont terribles !!! TOP TOP TOP POUR LE PRIX. Pour dire, j'avais fait la comparaison avec celles de Zildjan que j'ai dû renvoyer car super chères et moins biens pour jouer pour les petites prestations. Zildjan ne sonneront pas assez fort pour les prestations style resto. Certainement très biens pour jouer en appartement... Les SONICAKE, sonnent super biens et plus fortes que Zildjan mais assez pour jouer dans les pub et petites prestations. Le son des SONICAKE est très agréable. Juste peut être le sharley qui sonne un peu acier mais en comparaison avec les Ziljan, les SONICAKE sont biens mieux à mon goût. Elles sont moins chères et vous avez la ride qui sonne super bien également avec un vrai son de ride avec la cloche. Bref, heureux d'avoir fait la comparaison.

Ich spiele E Drum. Die Knackpunkte bei den meisten mittelklassigen Modellen sind die Hi-Hat und das Ride Becken. Nicht unbedingt vom Sound. Das Spielgefühl der Gummipads ist nicht sehr realistisch. Bei der Hi-Hat kommt noch die offen/halboffen/geschlossen Geschichte hinzu. Mit diesem Set konnte ich zwei Fliegen mit einer Klappe schlagen. Ich spiele jetzt quasi Hybrid. Toms, Snare, Kick usw. sind elektronisch. Hi-Hat und Ride sind akustisch. Funktioniert bei mir wunderbar. Ich spiele nicht über Kopfhörer sondern über Verstärker. So kann ich die Lautstärken wunderbar anpassen. Das Ride ist MEGA. Super Ping, klasse Kuppe Sound. Die Hi-Hat ist SUPER und die beiden Crashes gehen auch klar. Diese habe ich in mein Set integriert um auch hier das originale Spielgefühl zu haben. Man muss sich immer vor Augen halte, dass das komplette Set 69 Euro kostet. Von mir eine klare Kaufempfehlung. Zum üben super. Eine Sache ist mir wichtig zu erwähnen. Die Becken sind nicht lautlos und auch nicht flüsterleise. Klar, im Vergleich zu eine normalen Beckenset sind sie leiser. Aber halt nicht lautlos. Mein Sohn muss seinen Verstärker an der E Gitarre schon aufdrehen um gegen das Beckenset anspielen zu könne. Trotzdem. Super Preis/Leistungsverhältnis. Wäre schön, wenn es von der Serie noch kleinere Crashes oder Splashes usw. geben würde. UPDATE: Ich spiele das Beckenset jetzt seit März 2023. Zur Haltbarkeit kann ich nur gutes berichten. Da hat sich nichts verbogen, nichts ist gerissen. Alles top. Im Mai 2024 habe ich mir noch einmal das selbe Beckenset geholt. Größen, höhen der Kuppen, Verarbeitung alles gleich gut. Die Tonhöhen von zwei Becken unterscheiden sich aber vom ersten Set. Bei meinem zweiten Set klingen das 18" Crash und das 20" Ride schon dunkler. Kann ich gut mit leben. Habe jetzt drei Crashes am Set, die tonal unterschiedlich sind aber super harmonieren. Eins der Hi-Hat Becken als kleines Crash zu benutzen hat mir nicht gefallen. Da fehlt was. Kann ich nicht beschreiben. Über Overheads abgenommen, speise ich die Becken in ein Audio Interface ein. Hier kann ich den Sound dann auch noch im EQ verändern. Ich bleibe dabei. Super Beckenset. Für den Preis unschlagbar.

I've had these cymbals for about a month now and I must say I'm very happy with them. They're perfect for my setup at home where I don't want to be really loud. You still get the feel of real cymbals without the decibels. To me, they still have a 'musical' sound, I was worried they may just sound like pieces of metal. Great investment, you just need to be diligent with them as the holes weaken the metal.

Los platillos están muy bien, además de proporcionar un sonido más bajo para no ensordecer a ti y a los demás, suenan de maravilla para la calidad - precio que tienen. Van muy bien para ensayar, quizás la primera impresión es que no suenan mucho y más si tocas con un grupo, pero es para lo que son, para no hacer tanto ruido, si buscas un juego de platos para ensayar y que estén bien a un precio bastante ridículo en comparación en un juego normal, estos son tus platos.
