Does the peeling process hurt?

Nope. It worked a treat on my crusty heels. Can be quite alarming at times and messy when it starts to peel but a great head start into looking after my tootsies.

Yes my feet did burn very easily, my feet never burn so I hadn't even thought about it but after using them a day or two after the peeling had stopped I went out in the sun in sandals and my feet burned quickly and were red, sore and itchy for a few days. My own fault as the packets I'm sure said make sure to use sun cream like with any acid peel type things, I love the socks though and the feel of my feet after. The wierd thing is the tops of my feet didn't really peel anyway but did burn afterwards.

No. The only acids in it are Lactic Acid and Glycolic Acid.
