Cheap tyre inflator you only get what you pay for.

Can this be used for an airbrush?

Almost certainly not. Even some of the cheaper professional compressors struggle with enough cfm (measure of rate airflow) for air brushing/spraying.

Will this drain the cars battery?

As someone else as mentioned if you are worried about flattening the battery leave the engine running on the car. Doesn't take long to inflate a tyre but remember that you need the ignition switched on on the car that you have connected the device to so may as well fire the engine up as well

How does this device know when to stop inflating the tyre?

Not sure it does, best keeping an eye on it and stopping it when it reaches the level you want
