Hi, is Renapur suitable for use on leather hiking boots. Would it stay water proof for a reasonable length of time? Many thanks

My husband suggests you waterproof with Nikwax after the Renapur has been used to replenish the leather. It does help to keep the leather in good condition.

The description say's for use on smooth leather furniture, mine isn't smooth. Has anybody used it on non smooth leather?

You can use it on other leather surfaces so long as you wipe the surplus out of the "grooves". I've used it with no issues

Can this be used on brand new leather?

I have used Renapur Leather Balsam on new leather. It protects and feeds the leather straight away. Continuing to use Renapur keeps the leather supple.

Will this help restore car seat leather cracks?

Thank you for your question, many of our customers have used the product to minimize the appearance of cracks in leather. However if the cracks have gone below the pigment of the leather it is unlikely to help. I would also recommend caution applying the product if the pigment coating has started to 'flake' around the cracks, as any rubbing with a sponge or cloth could cause more damage. I hope this helps.
