This pen works really well. It lasts for over a year, just shake it up and press on some rough paper to get out going again. After the initial surgery,it settles down and writes smoothly. I use it on my black labels for jars. It does rub off only if you really scrub hard with hot soapy water. Otherwise it's pretty waterproof. If the intensity of the writing starts to fade after some months, I just go over it again with the pen.

Excellent chalk pens with really vibrant, opaque colours. They write smoothly, dry quickly, and show up brilliantly on blackboards, glass, and acrylic signs. The tips give good control for both writing and small details, and they wipe off easily from non-porous surfaces without leaving any residue. Great quality and fantastic value—I would definitely buy them again.

Good pens and great value however I’ve found they seem to make an awful noise when writing with them. Other than that, they do the job and are easy to clean up.

These have been great for window displays over Christmas. They wipe clean easily and are lasting really well.

Great but useless to use for freezer labelling.

These liquid chalk markers are great. I have since bought the same pens in an 8-colour multipack as I was so pleased with these. I have made my own blackboards with mdf, which is porous - therefore these pens do leave a mark. This is fine as I want something more permanent and will simply respray the blackboards with black paint if I ever want to change the writing. Therefore, please be aware that if you have a homemade porous blackboard, then it will markI have also used these on shinier bought blackboards, and they wipe off easily with a damp cloth. They also work well on any surface, shiny or otherwise which I have found particularly useful when other pens have failed (Sharpie permanent markers). This is due to the very liquid substance when it come out - it will write on almost anything.I have primarily used the pens to make blackboards for my wedding- they are bright white and look much better than ordinary chalk. - see picture attached.The only trouble is the pen lids don't click onto the ends of the pens very well... I managed to lose a lid on one of the pens first outings having put it on the end, but they fall off easily so it would be better if the pen could be changed to make the lids stay on the ends of the pens.

These Stationery Island Chalk Pens are absolutely brilliant! I was a bit hesitant to switch from traditional chalk, but these pens have completely won me over. I really enjoy using this. The fact the its liquid and eraseable helps me keeps all my spices up with labeling. The only bad thing is if your hands are wet and are using items with this product it smudges or erases.
