Can this be used to wash beards?

Yes, there's no difference between head hair and beard hair. This shampoo can be less harsh than the usual sulphate shampoos and more conditioning because of the natural ingredients.

What are the ingredients?

Too many to list mostly natural plant extracts and 100% vegan wheat and gluten free. Also contains sodium chloride fragrance and benzyl alcohol.

is this free of sodium benzoate and gluten please?

You can zoom in to the image of the back of the product to see the details. It states that it is gluten free, and I can't see any sodium benzoate in the ingredients list, but there are other benzoates. Best if you look yourself just in case.
