amazing product simple easy to use if you follow instructions
so after reading reviews i thought thought this wouldnt work but it was cheap so thought id try it out ... i had a hole in one tooth and lost filling from another which was causing me the worst tooth ache ive ever had !!! .. what you need to remember is this isnt the same thing they use to fill a tooth at the dentist so it takes a while to set ! .. i brushed my teeth before then rolled up a small bit of the filling i used my finger to apply rather than the plastic tool as i wanted to press it in and make sure it was covered then just added another ball and pressed that it the i ran my finger under warm water and rubbed it over it to help set it in place .. i found when i closed my mouth it was a good idea to press down my top jaw to bottm to make sure there wasnt too much in and i would be able to chew ok .. after doing this i opened my mouth and with a toothbrush scrapped the little bits that had come loose of my tongue and sides of my mouth .. i applied this at night before i went to bed DO NOT TRY AND DO IT IN THE DAY TIME IT WONT WORK !! .. it needs a long time to set in place .. i went to bed at 11 and was up at 6am and it had set perfectly . the next day i tried to eat soft foods but the day after that i was eating pizza and crisps and ive had no problems at all .. the toothache i had was gone by the next morning as well i couldnt belie how well it worked ! .. the tooth with the hole ive had to re do a number of times as the hole isnt round its on an edge so it doesnt pack in as well and does crumble out if i crunch something very hard but thats to be expected ! but the tooth i filled with a hole in the middle of the tooth has never fallen out set hard and has been in place now for over a month ! .. to me an amazing product if you take the time to do it right and let it set .

More Impressed Than I Thought I Would Be 👍
Bought as an emergency option as had to wait to see dentist for pain. Was sceptical but works as a temporary fix.

Brilliant
Very good product if you have patience for 24h ! Just avoid using the tooth for 1 day and then its alright for a temporary fix. My paste is still sticking after 1 week

Saved me a lot of pain - and money for temp fixes
EDIT: After using this and going back to the dentist, he commented on the neat job it did and it posed no difficulty in removal. I had an accident in my past that left me with a fractured tooth. I was advised by the dentist that it would eventually fail, but as it wasn’t causing any problems, I may as well leave it and monitor it. Several years on and it caught up with me. A chunk broke off and left me with a sharp edge. The dentist did an emergency filling with an appointment for a permanent repair in 4 weeks, but within 2 days it broke out – curse my love for salted peanuts! I took a punt with this and wish I had done it earlier rather than pay for a temporary filling. It was really easy to use. Inside the pot is a little roll of a thick paste. Kind of like putty but a lot thicker and dryer. You simply use the provided tool to take a sliver off, roll this into a ball and push it into the void. There were more detailed instructions, but that was it in a nutshell. A wet finger can smooth it over and it naturally dries to a hard layer. Probably best to do it before bed so you don’t have to think about it. Recommendations – Clean your teeth and rise with mouthwash – you don’t want to trap bacteria in the gap. Don’t put too much in to start with. Get the feel of where it is before you push it in as it can be awkward if you need to use your least dominant hand and you can’t directly see it in a mirror. If you get it wrong, remove it straight away before it hardens, although not a major problem as it will eventually come out. Any overfill should be smoothed off and removed. It is only a temporary fill and not fix. It can keep food debris out, prevent anything touching a nerve and thus relieve pain. You may need to repeat application depending on where it is used. For me it was on my molar on a side that I chew the most and absentmindedly eaten on that side and broken the repair twice – will someone take these peanuts away from me! It can easily break off, but it is only designed to be a fix until you get to see a dentist within a few days. Unfortunately, whoever stated this clearly doesn’t have an NHS dentist with a backlog of 6 weeks. Bottom line – can save you a lot of pain and is a good enough fix until you can get a permanent repair. Might be something to take on holidays from now on.

Rubbish. Don't waste your money
If i could give 0 i would. Its waste of money. Not work at all. First eating and it's coming off. Absolutely rubbish. Couple of times applying in the night before bed to have enough time to get harder but nothing. Absolutely disappointing.

Root Canal Filling
I needed and underwent the first part of root canal treatment to a top molar (extracting the pulp and temporary filling). I was told to come back in two weeks for the permanent filling to be inserted. However after less than a week whilst chewing soft food I felt a crack in the tooth. I went back to the dentist and he said part of my tooth had come away and so refilled it and asked me to be careful. I'd read about this stuff on here and decided to order some as was going on holiday before the permanent filling date and was worried that if the filling came out whilst away I would be stuck. I did come out after 3 days so I followed the pack instructions and inserted another filling which only lasted about 3 hours (I think this was because a) I'd never used the product before and b) it was difficult to fill as there was not a lot of tooth to support the filling). However the second filling went in fine and lasted about 4 days (1 more than the dentist's attempt!) Over the rest of the week away I replaced the filling twice and it meant I could relax knowing that there was not a big hole in the tooth (there was no pain as I'd had the nerve removed). However when I went back for the permanent filling another part of the tooth was broken which meant I had to have the tooth extracted as there was nothing to secure the filling too. I was unaware the tooth had cracked again as the filling material had held it together very well indeed. Whilst I lost the tooth in the end I was impressed with how the filling material performed. As others as said there is plenty in the tub so you get enough for multiple fillings. I've bought another pack so I've now always got an emergency supply! Great product and would recommend

Disolves while eating
Not the best product, I had a filling come out and the earliest I could book a dentist was a month away. Bought this product to provide temporary relief. Applying the product to the tooth isn't hard, just roll a bit into a ball and press into the area. It stays put and provides some releif... until you eat or drink! Any contact to the product causes it to disolve, even after "setting" for hours or overnight. I find I have to apply the product numerous times a day. I'd expect it to last a little longer than one meal.

Not working for temporary crowns
Not working for temporary crowns . Even after carefully following the instructions, the crown kept falling off within hours.

Great
My crown fell out and this stuff really works... just clean the tooth and the crown, dry it, put this Den Tek filling in it and pop it back in. Worked great!! I do recommend and hope I don't have to buy it again.
