good smaller capacity, long lived (so far, touch wood)
Quest 35530 0.8L Rice Cooker / Non-Stick Removable Bowl / Keep Warm Functionality / 350W I'm on my second of these. I use it virtually daily to cook rice for 1 person. The first lasted some years - that's a lot of use. The bowl got scratched up and I ultimately broke the lid, so got another one. Top appeal to me is the smaller capacity - you can still cook plenty of rice for several people (4+ depending upon how much you eat) but importantly it works well for one portion. Wash the rice to remove starch and it's a bit easier to clean imo. Non stick is a relatively cheap coating, and works only to a point (the heat source is a point source on the bottom of the bowl, like all these types of rice cookers, meaning some rice will stick), meaning a soak and then dishcloth clean is needed, but I do that daily so it can't be that much of a chore. But - inexpensive, nice smaller size, doesn't burn rice: all good

Compact and functional rice cooker for family of three
I recently purchased the Quest 35530 0.8L Rice Cooker, and I must say it has exceeded my expectations in terms of performance and convenience. This compact kitchen appliance has become an indispensable part of my daily cooking routine. Design and Build: The Quest 35530 boasts a sleek and modern design that fits seamlessly into any kitchen. Its compact size makes it ideal for small kitchens or for those with limited counter space. The non-stick removable bowl is not only easy to clean but also ensures that the rice doesn't stick, resulting in perfectly cooked grains every time. Functionality: With a power rating of 350W, this rice cooker proves to be a true powerhouse. It delivers quick and efficient cooking, producing fluffy and well-cooked rice with minimal effort. The one-touch operation simplifies the cooking process, making it user-friendly for both beginners and experienced cooks. The keep warm functionality is a game-changer. Once the rice is cooked, the appliance automatically switches to the keep warm mode, ensuring that your rice stays at an optimal temperature until you're ready to serve. This feature is particularly handy for busy individuals who may not be able to enjoy their meal immediately after cooking. Accessories: I appreciate the inclusion of a measuring cup and spatula with the rice cooker. The measuring cup ensures accurate portions, while the spatula's non-abrasive material prevents scratches on the non-stick surface of the bowl. These thoughtful additions make the cooking experience even more enjoyable. Versatility: While the primary function of this appliance is cooking rice, I've also experimented with using it for other grains like quinoa and couscous. The results have been consistently impressive, showcasing the versatility of the Quest 35530 beyond just rice. Conclusion: In conclusion, the Quest 35530 0.8L Rice Cooker has proven to be a reliable and efficient addition to my kitchen. Its compact design, user-friendly operation, and convenient features make it a must-have for anyone looking to simplify the rice cooking process. I highly recommend this rice cooker to individuals of all cooking skill levels. It's a fantastic investment that delivers consistently delicious results.

The Rice Cooker that Cooked Rice ๐
I have been using this little rice cooker for 3 months now - twice a week. What can I say except that I just canโt do without it. Itโs tough - it survived a fall even before I first began using it (hubby knocked it off a high table). Despite a massive dent in the body (which we sort of bent back into place), the pot is an unfussy doer. You do have to watch this cooker off and on closer to the end time; unlike the sophisticated ones that temperature control to keep your rice warm this tends to harden the rice at the bottom. Please note - apart from the cook/warm switch in front, there is also an on/off power switch at the back, which I find very handy, as I just power off as soon as the front cook switch flips up to warm mode. The cooker is ideal for 2-3 people who are big eaters. At most I have cooked 3 measuring cups of raw brown basmati rice in it (= 9 cooked cups). I put a towel below the cooker, fully expecting it to froth over as past cookers have, because the water level was an inch below the lid. To my surprise that never happened - not a drop. But I donโt think I could cook more than 3 cups of raw rice. I bought this because my large 12-cup Tefal rice/slow cooker was a pain to use for two, heavy, taking up a lot of counter space, and a pain to clean the filter, etc. This is like the opposite of that. I am totally happy with this cooker and havenโt taken out my Tefal cooker in 3 months. That is now strictly reserved when cooking for large numbers.

Stopped Working & Smelled Like Burning
Iโm very disappointed with this rice cooker. After only a short period of normal use, it suddenly started giving off a strong burning smell while cooking. Shortly after that, it completely stopped working. There were no prior warning signs, and it had been used according to the instructions. The burning smell was especially concerning, as it seemed like an internal electrical issue. Unfortunately, this happened just a few days after the Amazon return window closed.
