Our boy was always scratching and chewing his paws and grooming relentlessly. So we tried many different supplements to help reduce this and any discomfort he may have. Nothing had worked. So we tried this... I will be honest at first I thought it made no difference and it did state, it could take a month or so to work properly. So we stuck with it. Either way, our boy was getting treats. It wasn't until we ran out for a few day's that we noticed the difference and how much he wasn't actually scratching and chewing his paws. Within a day of no supplement his scratching and chewing had gone back to what it was before. Proof if it was needed he was getting a benefit and anything he was doing whilst taking the supplement was just rabbit. ***It does WORK*** And if it costs a couple of bottles of wine every 2 months to keep my boy happy, I ain't gonna loose sleep over it.

Great product 2nd time of buying them takes a while to kick but works well.

We have been using these for our dog who suffers terribly with seasonal itching and the improvement has been really noticeable. The scratching and paw licking has reduced significantly since we started giving these regularly. Our dog absolutely loves the taste of them too which makes it easy. They are not cheap but genuinely seem to work and that makes them well worth it.

First batch great, amazing and they had a huge effect on our French Bulldog who literally struggles with anything other than home cooked meals consisting of plenty of fresh veg and white fish, so we got them again. 2nd batch of same product All Itchy had a slightly different odour and she has gone backwards, started eating paws again, discharge in her ears and shaking her head, but them we’ve also realised that after she has eaten her meals close to having two chew, that on several occasions she has brought up here meals up. At first we assumed she’d hoovered something off the floor but it’s continued. So question to NutriPaw as I can find any other way of contacting you, could there have been a batch change which has done this - I’m not slating product - I want answers- the things that stopped her shaking head and chew paws seems to have stopped and I want to know why?????????

Our Patterdale Terrier has always been a bit of a scratcher and were done with vets expensive tablets. 3 stars for the same reason I think for what these are they are a bit expensive and the producers should consider making them a bit more affordable. As we may stop buying them and use cods liver oil supplements from a health store, and piriton anti histamine which will bring the same benefits to our dog. Our dog initially ate them from the hand. But after a week she wouldn't eat them directly at all and would spit them out. They do smell fishy and given the ingredients its no surprise. So we have resorted to crushing them into her food and double doses for the first 3 weeks. I have waited 9 weeks from purchase to write this review Summary is they have certainly helped our dog scratch less I've also been using medicated shampoo on her as well for reference. Its not like we can't afford them but we just feel it's a bit of a liberty at this price point. Edit 02/02/24 this product is no longer the same, we did continue to buy another tub, and reluctantly a 3rd as they did help our now dogs (weve now 2 patterdales) having been buying this for nearly a year, the last tub the product is not the same at all, salmon oil has been removed altogether it now has way to much tumeric these used to be soft crumbly, now are hard very yellow when crumbled and dusty. we will 100% not be buying these any more as ive said above now found the ingredients in other forms and will make our own additives to their food.

My dog seems to enjoy these and they’re easy to give as part of his daily routine. The treats are a good size and convenient to keep in the cupboard for when needed. I can’t really comment on the longer-term benefits yet, but as a treat they’ve gone down well and seem like a good option for the price.

I always think with any tablets is it the placebo effect? But with a dog that can't be really. My 14 year old Springer has severe separation anxiety which means he scratches himself (And sometimes chews himself to the point of blood) when he can't find you (I should note we cannot leave the house without someone with him - it is that bad). However, after 4 days I notices a difference with him taking these itch treats - yes I called them treats as he loves them! To the point he would hound me every morning till he had them. For his weight I think they lasted 45 days maybe more and at that point he was almost a different dog with his itching! We ran out and I couldn't afford to get more at the time and had to wait till pay day, after a couple of weeks the itching came back. So yes they do work (Or do for our dog) and yes I recommend them. But they are pricey!
