After a lot of research into the best melt and pour soap and ingredients, I decided to go for this.It was my first ever attempt at soap making and using such a product. I found that it melts quickly and is easy to use, BUT you will need to work with the melted hot soap QUICKLY as it re-solidifies fast. With this item, you get a huge amount (2KG) and it is great value for money.Unlike other reviews, I certainly found that the soap produces a reasonable amount of lather. In terms of lather quantity, I really couldn't differentiate this to store bought soap. Though, it is much better than soap bought at supermarkets, and does not over dry hands - excellent for sensitive skin. Also, the soaps we made lasted a decent length of time.I love it and we had many happy hours at soap making. Highly recommended for personal use or just for fun :)

This melt and pour soap base is super easy to use, you can just cut up what you need and then stick it in a glass bowl and put it in the microwave and it will melt nicely! Try and only heat it up in 30 sec increments and stir in between sessions to get the best result, so you don't overheat and have it boil out of the bowl!I added soap coloring and scent to my soaps and it turned out really well.Tip: you have to work with the hot soap quickly and spray rubbing alcohol on top to get rid of the bubbles on top!Also, one thing to note is that afterwards the soap does sweat if you have a warm room, but all melt and pour soaps do this, so you should always try and put cling film over the soaps, or shrink wrap them to prevent the soaps from air.

Making my own soaps became a new hobby during lockdown, which is something that I will definitely stick too. This soap base is amazing and so easy to use. I tend to use a range of essential oils and a few drops of soap colouring as well as adding some rubbing alcohol to make it antibacterial (lavender oil has antibacterial agents in it too) It’s been great for my sensitive skin. I have even started using my soaps to wash my hair too.

Easy to use and comes out well in moulds

Arrived promptly. I was surprised at how little soap I was able to make though as I thought from reading previous reviews I would get more bars per portion. 1 quarter (0.5kg) made 6 bars. The soap though is smooth and very natural feeling. I have put dye, essential oils & petals in mine. I'm happy with the overall result, though I have since gone and bought some surgical spirit as I was getting bubbles forming as it set. I understand the surgical spirit will remove these though I'm yet to try.

Was looking for a plain soap with nothing but soap. This melts easily and sets beautifully clear in silicon trays. It lathers nicely and without adding anything to it makes a nice natural soap.

Arrived as advised by the seller. Had a first attempt at making some fragranced sop which came out extremely well for a first learning attempt. The product was easy to use but I do recommend that you read up on "How to use this product" first.

Used this to make a soap for my daughter who suffers with eczema. I used this recipe (added to 350g of the base)1tbs raw honey1tsp soft brown sugar5ml Honey FO (optional)1/4tsp Silver Mica (optional for sparkle!)She tried it after a flare up that left her, in her own words, "looking like an albino giraffe!" and when she got out of the shower, her skin had calmed down to the point of barely even noticing she has eczema! She's been using it ever since and her skin looks almost eczema free.I'm so happy with this base, I've already ordered more and will continue to buy it for as long as I'm making soap.

Sapone di buona qualità, si scioglie in microonde, meglio se a una potenza media e non alta per non farlo bollire. Buona trasparenza.Arrivato in ritardo, in più ho dovuto pagare € 49,16 di spese dogana, non era specificato da nessuna parte che avrei dovuto pagare ancora x il prodotto. Vorrei i €49,16 indietro. Il prodotto è buono, la consegna meno.
