Impressive lap desk. Very solid and a nice size. I use the side shelf with my wireless trackball so there are no issues with space (as in with a mouse). The phone holder is very useful although when I'm sitting in a low chair (i.e. armchair) and the desk is tilted, then the phone tends to fall toward me. Also, the phone slot is a little deep so you can't press the home button (on iPhone) while it's in there. That's not a big deal though. Something simple under it will solve that. Also very useful is the opening under the phone slot so I can have my earphones in while I'm using the desk, or I can charge my phone. The slot at the back (for iPad/tablets) I also find handy for holding my notebooks, pens while I'm working on my laptop. The desk is a nice size, the wrist rest comfortable and also keeps the laptop from slipping.

Excellent piece of kit, ideal for both my 15inch MacBook Pro and my wife’s iPad Pro. The led light is very good and the pull out mouse tray is just the right size and can hold my phone too. Really impressed with the wood finish.

This lap desk is SO COOL! Very comfortable (I saw some reviews saying not comfortable— wow, no, very comfortable. Maybe if you’re expecting something very soft and squishy like a bean bag. But I think this memory foam is perfect- not hard, not too squishy, it’s perfect.) The light is supercool. And I was surprised by the handle and how easy it is to carry around. The hand rest is soft and — the whole set up is just delightful. I feel like I just treated myself in a huge way. I don’t spend money on things that aren’t absolutely needed. But this lap desk is just really awesome and fun to use. Plus now I can sit with better posture, with a straighter back and neck not hunching or slouching over my lap. Very nice, high quality product, and it looks nice, elegant- I was afraid it might look junky- no it’s elegant. It also came with lots of info in the packaging about how to use it, where to find all the features, and encouraging feedback. I will email the company to say what a nice job they did. It always feels like a gamble to order something online without seeing it in person. I would have been very happy to find this in a store and would have purchased it no question. So happy with this.

I really like how light it is but still able to securely support my laptop. Absolutely love the slide out ‘mouse’ holder as well as the light for just reading a novel

It is exactly what I needed. I only recieved this yesterday but so far I love everything about this lap desk! It is all it says it is and more. It's attractive, a great size and not too heavy to use or take with you wherever you go. Some of the older descriptions say that the tablet slot is only 9.5", it is not, it is bigger, more like12", which I am very happy about because my Galaxy Tab S6 is 10.5" so I can use it vertically and horizontally with this desk. The light is perfect for me because don't have a lighted keyboard. I love that I can bend it to be in the exact right place for me and also because there is a place to stash it when I'm not using it. The mouse pad/phone holder is also nice. Not only can you use it either on the left side ot the right side of the desk, there is non-slip coating where the mouse goes and my Galaxy S10 fits in the slot with about a .5" to spare. I do not use a mouse because my Tab S6 keyboard has a tracker on it so I can't speak to whether the mouse would slid off of the desk when it is tilted but my phone doesn't flop forward so maybe the mouse pad has been improved upon too. From reading other, older reviews, I think that the manufacturer has been updating and fixing issues that this may have had early on without calling it a new product. Whatever they are doing, they are doing it well. I wouldn't hesitate to buy this as a gift for someone or to replace my own if I need to.
