I've tried many different shaving creams and soaps since reverting to wet shaves four years ago, and this is as good as anything else, better than most and certainly less expensive. Gives a good lather and shave in conjunction with my Merkur razors and a good blade. It also smells nicer than most and leaves my skin smooth and fresh.

Arrived on time, good fragrance. Lathers as well as any other shave soap I have had. Good price.

I bought this for my husband as his skin can be a bit sensitive. It smells absolutely lovely, it lathers up really well and it lasts for absolutely ages. He's a convert and will only use this shaving foam now.

I normally use Taylor's of Bond Steet, but purchased this purely because I had got the pre-shave cream some weeks before. I like the pre-shave cream and thought this would be just as good. I was not to be disappointed, like other reviews have stated, it can be a little hard to lather up at first but once you get it going it's great to use, nice scent and an excellent lather. For a born again wet shaver this is a really nice, money well spent product.

I love the smell of Prorasso Red. It was my first shaving soap when I started using a safety razor, brush and bowl. This has not changed, it produces a lovely smelling, rich lather that allows the razor to glide across the face. I pair it with the Prorasso red aftershave balm lotion.

This is an ax lent product would highly recommend to anyone who wants a shaving cream
