E45 Moisturising Cream 500g for Dry, Itchy & Sensitive Skin, Emollient

I’ve tried so many creams for my dry, irritated skin, and nothing beats E45. It’s gentle, soothing, and starts working almost immediately.I use it daily on my hands and face, and it absorbs without leaving any greasy residue. My skin feels soft and calm, especially during the winter months when it usually gets flaky and tight.The 500g tub lasts ages and is great value for money. If you have eczema, dermatitis, or just sensitive skin, this is a must-have. Simple, effective, and dermatologist-approved.

This is a really effective moisturising cream for dry and sensitive skin. It absorbs well, doesn’t have an overpowering fragrance and leaves the skin feeling noticeably softer without causing irritation. The pump bottle is convenient and the 500g size lasts a long time, making it good value for everyday use. I would happily buy it again.

Used this daily for the past 20 years on the advice of a military doctor. My face always feels tight and taught after getting out of the shower so this has been my essential ever since. Absolute life saver.

I would buy unscented next time, but it does the job especially since I have very dry skin.

the lid doesn’t work and doesn’t dispense the cream

Like the Emollient Wash, the E45 cream has rave reviews for those suffering from severe dry skin and Eczema. Also like the Wash, it is a UK-made product and not available here, as far as I have searched.The cream is pretty much liquid paraffin, which is wax, and while it is soothing and excellent and fragrance-free, you can tell it has a very light, waxy feel to it. It's NOT greasy, just lightly waxy. It doesn't make me shine, either. I think it's absolutely brilliant, because it holds moisture in the skin really well. The front of the bottle says, " White Soft Paraffin", "Light Liquid Paraffin", and "Anhydrous Lanolin (Medilan)".Before I had to resort to Crisco (believe it or not) and petroleum jelly to forcibly hold moisture in my facial problem areas, which are the corners of my mouth, my chin, cheek areas and around the folds of my nose, which worked great, but very shiny and greasy too, which often caused pore-clogging as a side effect.The E45 cream is recommended for "soothing, dry, itching, flaking, chapped, rough and calloused skin, sunburn and detergent hands", according to the wording on the bottle. Also on the bottle's label: "also for more serious dry skin conditions such as eczema, dermatitis, ichthyosis and certain dry cases of psoriasis". Can be used for everyone, including babies unless there's an allergy to the contents.The bottle is huge, it will last quite a while. 500g equals 17.6 oz.Also, this ships from the UK and will take a while (weeks) to arrive. Heads-up to you -to me, it was well-worth it.
