3 Tier Heated Clothes Airer Cover – Reduce Drying Time Improve Airer Performance

Great item it fits perfectly & helps the clothes to dry faster. It also covers your drying so it looks less untidy. It’s easy to get the hang of and after use you can zip it up and store the airer flat.

Very handy indeed. Light weight and works well. Lots of rails to use. Mine fits two loads on the airer but that really depends if you cram too much into the machine or not as I don’t. Very happy. Inexpensive to use. Cover is helpful and easy to set up and use. Wouldn’t be without one. Cheaper than using a tumble dryer.

We’ve just got a standard heated airer from Dunelm and this cover has genuinely sped up drying time - especially for thicker bits like hoodies and towels. It keeps the warm air contained properly instead of letting it escape into the room. It fits well and zips up easily. The only slight downside is you have to unzip it to grab things out, so it’s a bit less convenient if you’re taking items off early. But overall, it’s made the whole setup much more efficient and I’d definitely recommend adding one if you use your heated rack a lot.

I've had the clothes drier for a couple of years and did the thing with throwing a sheet over it. However, I was disappearing under mountains of washing - both wet and dry - after Christmas and couldn't get the washing done till I'd got the last lot dry. It became a serious emergency when no-one had any clean pants left. So forked out for this and over the last week have managed to get on top of it all. I did seriously think about getting a tumble drier - but really don't like them. So - it helps - it does turn it more into an airing cupboard - I like using it and covering all the washing up and zipping and unzipping it. It takes a bit less time in that the bottoms of items don't stay damp as long and it's making me use the whole drier instead of just the front half with the back folded down against the wall. So does it save any time. Only a bit - but it is more effective, looks a lot better than the sheet and I think worth it if you have a lot of washing to get dry and aired. It took me a while to work out how to get the cover to fit! Thought I had been sent the wrong size. Then realised there are some zips to undo that make it fold smaller. Unfasten those and you have a bigger tent! Then it took me a while to work out how to hang washing on the top rack when the cover was on - without actually crawling inside it. You simply fold back the top/front of the cover to do that and then put the top back in place again. I leave it on all the time basically and just lift up the flap and pull the sides back to add things/take things off.

I’ve had a three tier Dry Soon electric drying rack for a number of years (7) m. These are large - tall, wide and not cheap so I’ve taken care of it and dry clothes effectively during the winter or rainy summers. When not in use I store it behind a large couch. In use I’ve always used a sheet over the top when stacked with wet clothes which make it more effective. But finally last month bought this fitted cover. Why did I wait so long? My mistake. This is a game changer. First, it is made very well. Second, it fits perfectly over the entire drying rack meaning it will keep the heat in to help dry clothes more efficiently. Third - it zips up into a tight fitted cover once the rack is all closed up when not in use which really helps with storage. I was amazed how helpful the cover is as it holds the rack shelves in place and makes it fit more efficiently in a cupboard or under a bed if you live in a small house or apartment and can’t leave it up all the time. Honestly I can’t recommend more highly and only wish I had purchased sooner and hadn’t waited so long!

One of the side seams by the zip came apart as soon as I touched it - it wasn't even sewn close to the adjacent material so it literally fell apart as I unzipped it. Also, I don't think it is made for the Deluxe version of the dryer - all the photos show it on the smaller version which is a different shape - and so even if it wasn't made so badly, it would not fit well. I did put some washing under it to dry (before returning it for a refund) and I am sure it made a difference as it was all nice and warm inside rather then the heat escaping into the room...BUT I think a sheet thrown over the stand would have been just as good - and FREE! So - not at all worth it. Badly made, doesn't fit and wildly overpriced,

I was a little sceptical about how useful this cover would be but I could see that draping a sheet over the top wasn't really doing a very good job of containing the heat of the airer. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of this cover - it's been designed very well and is worth the initial cost. When the airer is on with the cover over it you can feel the heat inside, just like a mini airing cupboard and after 8 hours of drying, everything inside is bone dry. Before using the cover I'd have to leave a few items which were still damp on the airer for an extra couple of hours. I'm certain that the cover really does speed up drying time, or at least make the airer more effective. Either way, my tumble dryer is a thing of the past and I wonder how on earth I ever managed without a heated airer!

This product is lightweight and very functional, fits the airer very well, assists in speed of drying clothes quickly and adds to the airer efficiency, quite expensive as an addition to the purchase of the original airer,
