I am so pleased with this scrapbook. I am planning to use it somewhere between a photo album and a scrapbook and it is perfect for the job!It looks and feels expensive, with good quality paper, and is a proper 'black' (not the cheapy looking black you can sometimes get). The wide spiral bound binding is perfect as it allows the book to rest flat on the table as you work on one page at at time, as well as allowing for the book to expand as it gets filled with extras.It would make a great gift for a crafty friend, or if you like scrapbooking, then you could fill it with pretty papers, stamps, ribbons, photographs, buttons, tickets etc and would make a fabulous gift for somebody special.The other nice thing is that the cover is blank, which leaves you free to decorate that also. Really pleased with this purchase! The other version in brown also looks lovely and am considering purchasing that in the future Paperchase Square Scrapbook. Kraft Design

I bought this to use as a photo album/ scrapbook for my children. It is lovely and looks really cool. All the pages are black including the covers and matte so easily writable. I use metallic sharpies to write and draw and lots of stickers. The paper is thick. It's a fun thing to use to record memories and its not girly or fuddy duddy like I imagine scrapbooks to be. Its something I love to look at and my son enjoys giving me things to put in it.

Beautiful quality books- used for me as collage art journals. I find the paper is robust enough to paint on and use a moderate amount of water in my art.It buckles slightly with mod podge, watercolour and gel medium but if you close once dry and put under a little weight the pages flatten perfectly and your left with pages of pure delight.The ribbon to close is lovely quality and long enough as with the ring binding to expand and accept media creating bulk.SUPERB item ive now bought Kraft and White journals and they all offer the same quality. Well done to paperchase........im hooked now and wont buy any other journals. They look simply stunning and covers can be played upon to cover any sticky fingers :-0

got this to pass away some time during lockdown and try and organise all my tickets for shows and gigs over the years. the pages are thick heavy black card the front is black and textured. good product all round, just need to hurry up and get back to being able to going to live events!

Excellent book. I’ve brought it for my Wedding and will be taking Polaroid’s to stick in it. I have brought metallic pens. These show up great on the black paper. Paper of great quality. I have even personalised the front of the book using matallic pens and it looks great. Very pleased with this book. Great size, quality and valve for money. Would definitely recommend.

I am really pleased with the craft book. It has loads of pages (plenty for beginner or expert) I have never ever scrapbooked before and wanted to make something special for my daughter who will be 21 this year. I began 3 days ago and have decorated it with pretty paper, motifs and photos. Theres plenty of space to write captions aswell.Well worth the money. I would highly recommend

This black scrapbook was one of the options I considered when looking for a book to create an anniversary scrapbook. The black pages seem more masculine so it appealed. On arrival, I found the covers very thick and sturdy, the ring binding good, strong quality and the price very reasonable. The pages are super, all square which I wanted, and actually quite thick which is great when writing/sticking things on both sides. I would recommend this is you want a sturdy, black scrapbook base.

Lovely scrapbook. Arrived quickly, well packaged, as described.I bought this intending to personalise it as a christmas gift and fill it with photos. It's done the job perfectly.I disagree with the reviewer who says it's difficult to get 6x4 photos in... Not sure how many they're trying to put in, but as it's a 12x12 album, isn't it just common sense that you can very easily fit 2 6x4 pictures per page with no issue, in many varying positions and angles. I also haven't found any problems tying the ribbon when the album is full, but I have only put photos in it, so thicker scraps may cause this issue. Overall am very happy with this. It's perfect for what I wanted and I'm sure the finished product will go down very well at christmas.
