If anyone looking to invest in great straighteners these are a great choice. I’ve been using top brand straighteners for years but none ever as good as these ones. What a difference they have made to my hair & I've only had them less than 1wk. My hair looks as if I’ve just came out a salon & they glide through ur hair & I can do full head of hair within 15 min. I love the wider plates they are amazing & also gives my hair a great shine. They are well worth the extra money I paid for them. In addition they heat up within 20seconds. I found doing the back of my hair a chore & after using these they’ve made it a pleasure as they just glide through your hair only regret is that I never bought these sooner & also a bonus they come with a handy & convenient case for travelling which isn’t too bulky it has a uk plug fitted on & last of all the cable is a great length & so far hasn’t tangled that other straighteners I’ve had well done cloud nine I love doing my hair now

I recently sold my old GHD straighteners to upgrade to the latest model and was extremely disappointed with the results. After doing some research, I discovered that many people felt the newer GHDs weren't quite as good as the originals. That led me to try Cloud Nine. Founded in 2009 by hairdresser and businessman Robert Powls, who is also recognised as the original founder of GHD, Cloud Nine seemed like a promising alternative. I'm so glad I made the switch—these straighteners are amazing! They remind me of the old GHDs that made the brand so popular in the first place. They heat up quickly, glide through the hair effortlessly, and leave my hair smooth and sleek. If you're disappointed with the newer GHD models, I would highly recommend giving Cloud Nine a try.

AMAZING...These are without a doubt better than any straightener I have ever used GHD included! Other straighteners were the equivalent of rubbing two large rocks together to build up some heat then running them through your hair i.e. damaging and ineffective. The price though not cheap is reflective of the quality of the product, do not hesitate to purchase these I personally guarantee you will not be disappointed. My nickname is Ms Whafro as I have extremely thick curly layered hair that has always been extremely unruly and barely responded to any treatment, it sits half way down my back. I washed my hair the previous evening added no product and slept on it all night, as my other straighteners broke a week ago I could not straighten it so you can only imagine how unruly it was the next day. Straighteners arrived and once plugged in and heated up I kid you not my hair was straight in less than five(5) minutes. I was on the phone with my aunt when the door bell rang it was royal mail with my straighteners, I ended the call plugged them in straightened my hair then phoned my aunt back to tell her my hair was straight...she could not believe it as she and anybody that knows me knows that it usually takes me well over an hour from whafro to straight for me...I can die happy now that I have found these ultimate bad boys. Do yourself a favour get these, save up if you have to(I did) it will be the best investment you will ever make...:-D

These straighteners are AMAZING - I don’t know why I waited so long to invest in these. Delivery was seamless, arrived earlier than expected. The only drawback would be Cloud Nine’s system to register for their warranty, which isn’t nearly as quick or easy to navigate as the system over at ghd Hair. (Specifically, the requirement to provide an Amazon invoice or order confirmation.) Fortunately I was able to get help from a very nice customer service agent, so all good now.

I have always been a diehard GHD fan. When mine finally 'gave up the ghost', I decided to do a bit of research before jumping in and buying another pair. Then the Cloud Nine reviews caught my eye! I was a bit dubious about switching to a brand I hadn't tried before, but decided to give them a go - purely based on the overwhelming positive reviews I had read. The next decision was whether or not to go for the wide plates. This was a much harder decision for me! I really didn't want to find them too bulky and cumbersome. In the end, looking at the measurements on a ruler (!) the actual width of the wide plates is 4cm - and I figured that this wasn't much wider than the regular GHDs I was used to! In fact, I think the regular cloud nines may have proved too thin and time consuming. So the verdict... I made 100% the right decision going for these straighteners! I can straighten my hair much quicker than before and I have no complaints at all about the quality of the Cloud Nines. They glide through my hair and never snag. (My hair is prone to frizz and quite thick). I tend to use the highest heat setting for my hair, but I do like the variable heat options as it means I can also use the straighteners on my 9 year old daughters hair - on a much lower setting. My only negative comment would be that the straighteners don't come with a heat proof mat. I definitely recommend these straighteners!

Wow! I’m not really one to leave a product review, however I’m amazed with these hair straighteners and the service from Amazon. I’ve been a loyal ghd user for many years and was nervous about switching, but having read other reviews and spoken to some of my hairdressing friends I decided to make the move to cloud 9. I ordered these 23/12 after being messed around by very, I was expending delivery from Amazon after Christmas but they arrived this morning on Christmas Eve the day after ordering with free delivery. On using the straightners I found they cut the time down by more than half in comparison to my ghd. I found them lighter and easier to use and seemed to glide through my hair even in larger sections (I have a lot of hair) I set the temperature at 150 and they still worked much better than my previous straightners. Beautifully presented in an attractive box, with a gorgeous case and protective guard. I didn’t really want to remove from the box as they looked so pretty. I would highly recommend this product and Amazon who never let me down. Many thanks for a great product and excellent service.
