I am shaving a couple of mm off a butchers block I've made; will this do?

I don't think so. I got this to shave a couple of mm off the bottom of a door. It wasn't up to the job, would have taken forever to do it.

I need to take littlebits off pine draws so the move in a out easily. Is this the planer to buy?

Its fine for soft wood and quite small so should be fine for drawers. I used it on my garden gate and it done the job.

As this has a blade - did the delivery driver ask for date of birth? as my landlord takes the post and therefore doesn't like giving her dob.

No, I wasn't asked for my date of birth. It was concealed in a box with other items though, so the delivery driver wouldn't have known what it was (but I guess the signature machine thingy could have prompted him to check my age??). If I remember correctly, it's also more like a cheese grater than a blade per se. And I didn't find it to be much use.

Would this shave the top of a hollow door

I do not know if it will work on a hollow door as I used it on a small solid door and it worked fine even if it did take a LOT of elbow grease! I would imagine an electric sander would be a better choice for a hollow door, but, I am not a Joiner so best to get professional advice before you do anything.
