Can you use these if you have wide feet

You get 8 (x2) laces in 8 sizes so I used the largest 6 for my husbands converse plus the largest two from my set which seemed to work (I have small feet). They are quite snug but I love them as does everyone that sees them.

Can you use them on doctor martin boots

Laces are an intrisic part and design of Doc Marten boots. Why take them out?

Are these suitable for mens smart shoes or just for trainers?

It depends how big the shoe lace hole is. They are not good for loops. They need to be a good size hole for the no tie lace end to fit. They look like rubber so depends how you want your shoe to look

Does enyone know if these look good on football boots

I use them in my trainers and they are ideal, so they would be suitable for children's trainers but probably not suitable for football boots due to the impact on the boots.
