Q: Does it take the bags to do toasted sandwiches?

Just! But the top sticks out, it doesn't take a 'normal' slice from a loaf, don't know why anyone would make a toaster that doesn't do that, bought it to replace a previous Russell Hobbs, was very disappointed 

Q: How wide are the toasting slots please? In mm.

The width 4mm x 14mm length I find that it does not take all bread size, Warburtons does not fit properly, so top does not brown, smaller sized loaf fits better, apart from that, toaster is ok.

Q: How deep are the toasting slots?

Not deep enough, average slice from a sliced loaf of bread 13cm, depth of slot 11cm! Pointless
