I know nothing about garage door openers and was able to program this. The instructions are pretty straightforward and easy to follow. Great value for the price. I have had it for a couple of months now and it works great. You get 2 of them so, perfect for a 2-car household. I'd definitely purchase again.

This was a great extra garage remote so my husband and I could each have one. It was so easy to program, I just followed the enclosed directions. It works from the end of my driveway so the range is good too.

I have had problems with the signal from the remote reaching the garage door. I even extended and strengthened the antenna but still had serious issues. Problem solved when I got these. If you have problems connecting then look up tutorial videos online. The instructions aren't the best.

Good value and as easy to set up as others but with a short range. I need to pull up to within a couple feet of the door to open it. Not a huge issue but the original would open the door early enough that I could pull right in.

This came with the best directions to program a remote I've yet to have. Very clear and accurate. Worked with my 20 year old Chamberlain model opener almost immediately. It took less than 5 minutes to walk to my garage, program the remote, and put the remote in the car.They also pack the units in a super small box, so if you only need one remote it is easy to store the second remote for future use while saving the directions.

PROS:This clicker was easy to setup, and just works with great range. This is a basic universal multi frequency clicker.CONS:You cannot program this clicker, with your original Clickers.Thoughts:You will have to reset your garage opener by pressing the learn button on the garage machine above your head. Your original clickers wont work anymore.Make sure you get enough New Clickers [ this device ] to replace all your original clickers if you have multiple vehicles that use the garage.

These remotes were very easy to program and they both worked great - but only from within the garage and about 15' outside of the garage. Neither remote would work from more than halfway of our driveway. The original remote would work from half a block down the street. Cheap replacement if your driveway is only 10' long.Update: I purchased a Chamberlain brand remote and had the same problem with poor range. I went to Chamberlain's website for troubleshooting info and started running down the list. I found that the new remote had a marginal battery, so I put in a new battery, which helped some. They recommended not using LED light bulbs in the opener because it can interfere with the remote signal, so I took them out and replaced them with CFL bulbs. Voila! The new remote worked like a charm with 50+' of range. The LED bulbs may have caused the problem with the original remotes that I reviewed above, but it is funny why the LEDs didn't affect the range on my other old remote.

Easy to connect. 2 extra batteries which is generous. Works well. Good quality for the price.

Comes with batteries and easy to follow instructions for programming them- although I verified them with the original instructions that came with my Chamberlain garage door lift. They work perfectly.

Bought this for a 2 door garage hoping the remote would allow me to open both doors separately with one remote. Spent hours trying to set this up because most of the time it would ignore all attempts, or it will sync with one door, and when it sync'd with the next door, the first one would stop working. Instructions to press the key few times according to your opener, then any other key to set the target button does NOT work. It will drive you mad to the point you will try a million combinations and it'll just decide on its own if it wants to sync or not. After a few hours of unplugging my unit, resetting it and the remote, I finally got both remotes setup how I wanted, only to have it unlearn after 3 days. You might be now thinking its a problem with my opener, but with the 1 button OEM remote, it syncs and stays working on first button press, every single time. There is something seriously wrong with the electronics in this product.
