I wouldn't say it actually causes any frizz or static, but it certainly doesn't reduce it. You will definitely need to use a conditioner after this shampoo. Hope this helps.

Does it contain sulphites?

I can see ammonium lauryl sulfate in the ingredients list, but I don' think I can see any sulphites.
